About this Cabin
Enjoy all the benefits of the Mississippi River while staying at this all-season cabin located directly on the Mississippi River in Trempealeau, WI. The cabin features a private dock for direct river access (usually May-October depending on the water level), a firepit for campfires and a large screen porch along the river side allowing endless hours of serenity and views. Experience the natural beauty, entertainment and recreational areas of Trempealeau Wisconsin. Walking distance to downtown Trempealeau, 3 miles to Perrot State park and a 1/2 mile to access the public boat landing, Trempealeau Lakes and the Great River State Bike Trail. Whether you're planning a family vacation, fishing/ice fishing, boating or bicycling trip or just want to get out of town to relax, look no further, as this cabin meets all of your needs.
The cabin has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and queen futon to comfortably sleep 4 people. The living room has a queen sofa sleeper and the front screen porch has a full size futon (great for sleeping during warmer temperatures). The kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans, coffee maker/filters, toaster, microwave, plates, glasses, silverware and basic spices. We provided bed linens, bath and kitchen towels and toilet paper.
The dock is available to you during your stay usually May-October. The timing depends on the river water level. There are also public boat landings within 1/2 mile available to get on the water/ice.

River cabin in Trempealeau
This is an amazing place located just south of L&D 6. I went there for some quiet "me time" and I found it. I was immersed in nature and spent the time hiking and pampering myself. Tori is a great host and provided everything I could think of for my stay. This would be an ideal place to stay during any season of the year and I'm hoping to go back when when the flowers are blooming.

An unforgettable stay in Trempealeau
We enjoyed our stay and made precious memories during our stay in the Mississippi river cottage in Trempealeau. The communication with our host, Tori, was excellent, and she had thought of all the details to make the cottage an inviting and pleasant place to stay and escape the noise of the big city. It was very clean, had a wonderful view of the Mississippi and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the countryside , relaxing in the Adirondack chairs on the lawn. We liked the screen porch and the Jacuzzi bathroom skylight but above all- the gorgeous view of the river and the peacefulness of the place. We will definitely revisit this cozy, great escape in a year!

Cabin on the River
We rented the cabin for my two daughters (40+) and 2 grandsons (18+), however only one daughter and one grandson made it. They were from Idaho and really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The cabin was perfect for them. Since it was quite warm, we were inside with the A/C on, but also enjoyed the outdoors.

National High School Bass Fishing Championship
We had a great time at this cabin. Really enjoyed our time on the river and watching the barges and checking out the lock. Great neighborhood and friendly people.
