Large one bedroom 800 sq. ft. upstairs apartment in the middle of the beautiful Black Hills. Extra large bedroom with 2 queen beds, sofa bed in great room--sleeps up to 6. Fully equipped kitchen with full size stove & refrigerator, microwave, slow cooker, coffee maker & toaster. Private building and entrance. Gas & charcoal grills and picnic table. Outdoor fire (as permitted). Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, good cell phone reception, satellite TV and DVD player.

Quiet location in wooded mountains bordering Forest Service property. Enjoy wildlife outside your bedroom window. Two miles NW of Custer. Close to Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Monument, Mt Rushmore, Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument and more.

No surprises Listing pictures were quite accurate. Hosts live next door so they are there if you need anything. Kitchen is small but very functional. Could not find local channels or access to national news (NBC, CBS, etc.) on their TV, but only a minor annoyance. Beds were comfortable. What we liked most was the location 2 miles from main road, but very quiet and felt more like 20 miles from town. Saw deer alongside the road several times. Would highly recommend without reservations.

Comfy Garage Apt; lovely location All went smoothly with this reservation. Kitchen is well supplied - you can cook meals. Was roomy enough for the 3 of us adults. Quiet. Comfortable beds. There are steps, of course - around 14. Linda was responsive and helpful in every way. Highly recommend.

"THE PEACEABLE KINGDOM" Laramie Bluffs was a great alternative to being boxed in by four walls of a hotel. Wind rustling through trees was the only sounds heard. Unit was spacious, very clean, and well furnished. Our thanks to Linda and Gary for being great hosts.

Nice rural location Enjoyed the quiet location, the fire pit, grill and swing were great, wifi was slow but useable, we had a very pleasant stay

A slice of heaven The hosts are amazing! They shared their information of the area and showed us hiking trails. The area is filled with wildlife and beauty at every turn. The apartment was perfect for our home base. Great open living area to keep the family together during meals and hang time. An absolutely perfect place to stay while experiencing Custer and other surrounding treasures. So grateful our hosts share their slice of heaven!

Beautiful mountain get away in Custer We stayed at Laramie Bluffs when visiting the Black Hills and the location was beautiful and centrally located to all of the activities in the area. Linda and Gary were welcoming and everything was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The kids loved climbing on the bluffs in the backyard. Thank you for a wonderful visit!
