About this Apartment
Summary:
San Diego is open for business (& vacations)!
Our cleaners are spending extra time (and we are paying them) to disinfect any and all surfaces, especially high-touch areas.
This wonderful space is close by the Mission Bay Park. You’ll love it because it's completely furnished and opens through French doors to a spacious patio which was updated just this year with a built-in grill, gazebo, fridge (stocked with beverages) and lounge seating! A king sized bed, a complete kitchenette with everything you'll need. Full bathroom with shower, smart TV, and high speed wifi (that works well enough to take a Zoom meeting on the patio!). There is a coffee-maker. Access to a washer and dryer - just ask!
My place is good for couples, solo, business travelers, and families with small children.
**Military/gov't contractors welcome - we work with per diem rates.**
The Space:
This is a guest suite that is part of a larger home. The suite is self-contained with a separate entrance and totally private and separate from the main home. Also, there is a weightlifting rack and equipment on the property (please let us know in advance if you'd like to use it!).
Guest Access:
This is a private studio connected to a single family home with it's own private entrance. The patio and outside areas are shared with the other studio on the property.
The Neighborhood:
This home is located in a safe, friendly and family-oriented neighborhood. You may find yourself invited to join the owner and neighbors for a Friday night neighborhood cookout (feel free to say no). On any given Saturday, you will probably see kids and dogs running past the house - if you've got a kiddo (or a dog), they will be invited to join!
Getting Around:
In November 2021, the city of San Diego will begin trolley service that will take you to many places in San Diego: the International border, downtown, Little Italy, UCSD, University Town Center (shopping and dining), and more! The station is a 3 minute walk from this home.
Other Things to Note:
This studio runs on green, solar energy.
Want to workout while you're in town? We have everything you need in a fully stocked home gym including: squat/bench/pull-up rig, men's bar (20 kg), women's bar (15 kg), training bar (7 kg), bumper plates (5 - 45 pounds), jump ropes, box, bosu ball, training bands, mats, slam ball and wall ball.
For stays longer than 30 days, I require a deposit in the amount of one month's rent to be paid offline due 60 days prior to arrival as well as a formal lease agreement.
Pet Policy: We do not allow cats in this property

Lovely studio with beautiful outdoor BBQ space. Perfect place for my husband and I to stay while visiting our son at SDSU. Well stocked with everything we needed. Host very responsive! Will stay here again.

Amazing place!
My wife and I use VRBOs all the time for vacation. This place is amazing. If you are looking to explore San Diego this is the place to stay. The trolley is a short walk that takes you to all the places you want to, old town, downtown, little Italy or a padres game. The place has all the amenities that two people would need. The owners are very friendly and responsive. I’d give this place a 10 out of 10!

Read the fine print.
upon reviewing the location information, it was assumed that the outside yard would be available only to you. I was wrong. The location has three other apartments which had access to the yard. I brought my 4 dogs upon seeing the yard but it turned into a nightmare. The owners sister lives in one of the lower apartments. Her children came out and when the dogs saw them, they went after the kids. One of the kids was bitten by one of my dogs. No puncture wound but a bite mark. The owner's sister report the incident to the owner who contacted us and asked us to leave the following day. It worked out for us as the locations was extremely small and one of our dogs got a bad bacterial infection. Make sure you read all the information on the property you like to rent before making any decisions. The owner did reimburse me for the one day. It was learning experience for me and I will asked many questions if I decide to use VRBO again.

Great location and place to stay
We absolutely loved staying here. The property was clean, perfectly located (pretty much 15 minutes anywhere -- except during rush hour, of course). Communication with Aaron was amazing. The courtyard was our favorite place to be. The pictures are a little dated: there are minor differences in furniture and appliances, but nothing that should change what you think about this place. We would definitely stay here again if we come visit San Diego again.

Mom and daughter trip
I came down with my mom to spend the week and visit my husband who is one North Island Base. The place was safe, quiet, and just wonderful for us. We enjoyed the outside area the most! Loved this place.
