Really great stay The goal was a nice calm weekend away and that’s exactly what we got here. Everything offered was great and Jim was a great host. Received fresh eggs and muffins and even got some tractor lessons along with my partner by Jim himself. Really enjoyed our selves and would even consider re visiting in the future. 10/10 experience.

Love this place Jim is such a great host! This was my second time here with my daughter and our dogs. We loved it even though it was raining. It’s a nice quiet spot and if you need anything whatsoever Jim will do whatever he can to accommodate you. Take your pets and check this place out. ♥️♥️ definitely five star!!!!

Fabulous! The cabin was perfect for us. It was clean, well stocked as per the description and very cozy. We loved the quiet wooded setting. From the porch with the rocking chair, to the screened gazebo, as well as paths to walk, I spent much of my time outside. The entire place was extremely dog friendly which allowed us to keep our pet with us and relax at the same time. Jim met us as we arrived and gave us a tour of the cabin and grounds. He was friendly, helpful and laid back which further allowed us to relax. He was a perfect host, and was genuinely concerned that we had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. There are also plenty of activities to be found locally for entertainment, but this visit we just chose to chill. I easily could have stayed much longer in this peaceful paradise and I definitely plan to come back!

Terrific find!! Exceptional place to stay. Jim and Effie were fantastic hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was worry free and memorable. Jim provided us with a huge variety of coffee pods, fresh eggs, and muffins for breakfast and ice cream for an after dinner treat. Mornings were spent relaxing on a covered porch watching humming birds fluttering nearby. The place is very pet friendly offering plenty of treats, toys, bowls and blankets all in the safety of a fenced in yard. We were provided with complimentary beach passed plus free parking to the beautiful Long Beach Island shore which was about an half hours drive. Well worth the trip. However we didn't have to venture far for an outdoor experience. This quiet little place offered a surprising amount of amenities from walking trails, to a picturesque meadow, to a gazebo overlooking a pond, and a fire pit for relaxing by in the evening. Jim even provided kayaks that we took to a nearby lake where we also fished and hiked. If planning to visit the area, we highly recommend this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon.

Excellent little cabin We had a great stay at Jim's cabin. It was cozy and comfortable. Jim was a great host. He took us on a tour of the grounds, which include a pond, fire pit, and meadow, and provided lots of information about things to do nearby. I wish we had been able to stay longer!

Hidden Gem This cabin was amazing! Jim was THE BEST host we’ve ever had. He offered to take us anywhere and knew exactly where to go for anything we needed or wanted to do. He gave us beach passes also which was nice! If you enjoy hiking, there are a lot of state parks right around the cabin, fishing is all around the area and if you enjoy the beach, it’s about a 40 minute drive but not bad at all. The cabin comfortably fit the three of us and our three dogs. There’s a sleeper sofa and a Murphy bed, kitchen, bathroom, washer and dryer, AC, had everything needed for cooking, sleeping, bathing, covers to protect the furniture…unlimited ice pops, Hershey bars and graham crackers for s’mores by the fire and FRESH eggs. My daughter loved feeding Henriettas (the chickens), the roosters and picking their eggs. There are paths to take you to a gorgeous meadow or a spring fed pond with a gazebo, life vests, mist fan, sun spray, bug spray, a canoe and kayaks. Jim left bones, dog dishes around, dog treats and treated our dogs as his own. They loved swimming and running around the pond and the paths around the area…even within the fenced area. There’s also a fire pit, grills, lit up gazebo with fan, furniture and picnic table to enjoy outdoor relaxation. It’s fenced in for the dogs which is excellent. Jim really thought of everything for this little piece a paradise! We miss it already!

Great cabin with great host Our stay at this cabin was extremely comfortable. I was surprised with lots of more amenities than I was expecting: snacks, fire wood, pond for swimming, etc. What really makes this place great is its host Jim. He’s such a friendly person and always attentive to our needs. 100% recommended.
