Property Reviews
At A Glance!
Reviews indicate that this property is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful, secluded location, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. Guests appreciated the proximity to hiking trails and the charming town of Nashville, IN, as well as the well-maintained amenities like the fire pit and grill. However, some minor issues were noted, such as noise from neighboring units, slippery tubs, and occasional difficulties with the TV setup and outdoor lighting. Overall, the sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Clean ad quiet The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Very relaxing!

Nice out of the way place We enjoyed the location and used the fire pit. Two rooms share fire pit and grill so consider this when booking. Also can hear neighbors through walls or upstairs. Since none of the neighbors upstairs or downstairs sat outside we pretty much had evening outside by ourselves

Lazy Retreat We stayed in the lower level suite which was clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable, quiet and easy to get too. A couple safety issues bothered us: tub extremely slippery and the outside light on the lower level did not work leaving it quite dark when going up and down the stairs. There were lights on the parking side though. Also, we arrived at 4 pm just when the Colts were going to start OT. The TV was only set up for “internet TV” and we couldn’t find the game. We called Cara and had to leave a message but did not get a return call. We called again Monday and she said she “had no idea where to find local channels” and suggested we just subscribe and then cancel in a day or so??? Not a helpful conversation. Lastly we had coffee cups and pods but no coffee maker. We did run into the cleaning crew who gave us one from another suite the following day.

Rustic Retreat Clean newer property that was as described by owner. A little off the beaten path but close enough to lots of hiking, MTB, etc.

Perfect getaway This cabin is the perfect place to stay in nature for a nice getaway! The beautiful trees all around were amazing (we stayed mid-October). The check in was simple, cute and cozy decor, clean and coffee included! A short 10 minute drive to Brown County hiking trails.

Great Anniversary getaway with our dog! We lucked into this property at the last minute & it was perfect! The unit was clean, the bed was comfortable & the shower pressure was amazing! We did the 5 mile hike at the Laura Hare Nature Preserve our first day & then got veggie burgers at the Story grill next door. The next day we went to Ooey Gooey Cinnamon Rolls in Nashville (shared an amazing original roll with nuts) & they had a great patio we could eat on with our dog. We hiked around the state park & then got delicious pizza at Brozzini's Pizza in Nashville on another great patio. Our last day we had brunch at the Bird's Nest Cafe on another beautiful patio with our dog & then shopped around the lovely town of Nashville. We were able to take our dog into Fallen Leaf Books & Bone Appetit Bakery. It was a great weekend & we would definitely recommend this property.

Great little getaway! My husband and I booked this last minute for a quick getaway without the kiddos. Was very clean and quiet. We stayed on a Sunday & Monday night, so unfortunately the restaurant was not open. But it is a quick and beautiful drive into Nashville where we shopped and ate. Great little trip! Highly recommend this place for some peace and quiet.

Lovely place for a girls weekend We stayed the weekend for my sister's birthday, and it was perfect. Story is such a gem, and this room was conveniently located in a cabin on the hill above the Inn. There was a large wedding taking place during our stay and so quite a loud band for several hours on evening, but otherwise peaceful and serene. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including coffee and snacks! Overall a great experience.
