About this Apartment
Be one of the first to stay in this newly available, private, cottage-like unit located on the main level in the rear of a beautiful restored Victorian home. Situated in the historic district of downtown, it’s a one block stroll to many shops, restaurants and attractions of Bardstown. Offering a private entrance off a covered patio, perfect for enjoying afternoon cocktails and morning coffee. It’s spacious, newly renovated, and very tastefully decorated. Everything you need. Perfect for couples!
The space
This space will provide you the luxury of staying in a home with the privacy of a hotel. Amenities include: free wifi, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, 76" screen TV, private bath, washer/dryer, self-controlled AC/heat, hairdryer, iron, bidet, private entrance, free street/private parking and a large private back porch for guests. AND, if you forget something, just text me and I'll be happy to accommodate you with the forgotten item.
Guest access
You'll have a private bathroom, laundry area, and back porch and of course room. You may see a neighbor in their yard or myself coming in from the grocery, but your stay will be as private as YOU choose. Your room has keyless entry to make it even more private. Street parking is available, or park in the rear of the residence if that works better for you.

I absolutely love living in downtown Bardstown. The convenience of walking downtown to shop or eat never gets old. I've lived in Nelson County most my life and I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I love living here!

Prefect for a couple
Any was a fantastic host. The property is easy walking distance to downtown and the porch was really nice. Snacks provided, good size fridge and spotless throughout. We enjoyed our stay

The property is in a great location--walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and a dinner train. Beautiful and clean property with a nice porch to sit outside. Loved our long weekend stay!

Perfect weekend getaway
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at Amelia’s place. You could not ask for a better location or better accommodations. Our weekend was a celebration for my husband’s 50th birthday. Amelia even brought him pastries as a birthday gift. She has truly thought of everything to make this a wonderful place to stay. Oh, and the porch is awesome!!!

Wonderful!
This is a beautiful place that is so close to restaurants and shops. We loved sitting on the porch having coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Would definitely stay here again!

Weekend getaway
Very nice room, beautiful bathroom, lovely covered porch. Hostess very accessible and pleasant. Quiet area in Bardstown. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Came to Bardstown to ride the My Old Kentucky Dinner Train. Beautiful ride and very delicious dinner.

I am very happy that I chose to stay here. The place was very charming, clean, comfortable. The porch was a great bonus! If I am back in Bardstown again, I will be here again.

Amazing attention to details
Amy has put a lot of thought into this part of her home. Great location within walking distance to downtown Bardstown. Beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and appreciated extras like coffee, creamer, snacks, and amenities. Her communication was perfect. I would highly recommend this property!
