About this Cabin

Welcome to our 900 square foot cabin on 30 wooded acres with walking trails. Wildlife is abundant: you will most likely see deer, turkeys, rabbits, grouse and maybe even a bear. The cabin is perfect for year-round recreation as it is located directly on a snowmobile/ATV route and features a trailer-friendly circle drive with plenty of parking.

The Eau Claire Lakes with public boat launches are nearby. Includes an outdoor fire pit, charcoal grill, gas grill, large deck in the rear of the cabin with patio table and chairs and a nice covered porch in the front.

Our cabin features a master bedroom (queen size bed) and a loft (2 twin beds) which is great for children. Town of Barnes is 5 miles, Iron River is 18 miles, Cable is 19 miles and Hayward is 25 miles.

Quick getaway in the woods Great November weekend in the woods. Secluded with lots of trails on the property and easy access to town. Highly recommended.

Our 3rd Time Here I cannot say enough about this cabin, as well as the host, Linda; As the title states this was out third time back! Both are just outstanding! Very clean and comfortable; Everything you need to unwind and enjoy nature. I highly recommend!

Wonderful This was my third stay at the property and won't be the last. It is always very well stocked, clean and the perfect spot for a relaxing get away. The trail around the property is always a highlight for me as is grilling out on the big beautiful deck enjoying the nature. Linda is a fantastic host.

Northwoods Relaxation Wonderful stay at a wonderfully quiet Northwoods retreat. One of the cleanest/well stocked/well maintained VRBO in which we have stayed.

Beyond my expectations! This was my first VRBO rental. Being a newby, I was a bit nervous. Our plan was to do a lot of hiking and not spending time on the property, but that changed after our first day of hiking at Amnicon Falls when one of my pups cut her paw open. We altered our itinerary. We decided to stick around the property and enjoy all the amenities the property had to offer. We walked on the orange and blue trails, watched movies, had a fire in the massive firepit and sat on the beautiful deck and read a book. The property had everything and more than we needed. The house was incredibly clean, comfortable and beautiful. In my opinion, Linda has thought of everything! She even had extra supplies for the pups if needed. I 100% recommend Linda as a host. Thanks again Linda for sharing your wonderful property with complete strangers.
