SUMMER HOUSE BLDG B CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:
At the end of Summer 2022, Summer House began a multi-year project to completely revamp the development. Once complete, Summer House will look like a brand new condo!! The project is halfway completed. Please review the details on what to expect when visiting Summer House Fall 2024 - Late Spring 2025. Please reach out to us with any questions. Rates are discounted to offset the construction activity.
Important Summer House Construction Information:
* BEACH ACCESS will remain open.
* OUTDOOR POOL CLOSURE starting August 19, 2024. The indoor pool will remain open.
* SAFETY FIRST! Construction areas will be restricted while overhead work is being performed. Pedestrian traffic will be routed to one side of the building. Please follow the signage for pedestrian safely.
* Interiors for Building B are complete! All new sliding doors and windows; new exterior doors; all new coatings and paint on the beach front decks; all new paint on the south side of the building. ALL OF THIS LOOKS GREAT!!
* Temporary railings are installed along NORTH SIDE floor level walk ways/corridors in the B building. These are not pretty, but they are safe and meet all codes. Permanent railing installs will begin in September. The floors levels they are working on will be closed to rentals during this time. We have these condos blocked off for this work, so you will not be staying on a floor where the work is being done.
* Construction workers will be present most days during Fall 2024 working on the exterior of the NORTH SIDE of the building.
Parking may be limited at times. If so, additional vehicles can use the overflow parking lot located directly across the street from the condo.

CLEAN BED GUARANTEE
All beds are dressed with fresh, luxurious sheets AND fresh bedding/quilts/comforters before EVERY rental! You are guaranteed to have a completely fresh and clean bed!!! You will also find each bathroom stocked with oversized fresh bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and bath mats straight from our laundry office! We started this in 2018 when we took our cleaning in house and created our housekeeping pision. We have complete control over our property cleaning and maintenance.
WHAT WE STOCK
As common for vacation rentals in our area, we provide one round of bath soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and toilet paper in the bathrooms. In the kitchen you will find one round of paper towels laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, and trash bags. These stocked amenities are intended to get you through the first night. We are not set up like a hotel so we do not provide daily housekeeping or amenity restocking. Please bring the extra items you will need for your vacation.
SPECIAL NOTES
* Must be 25 or older to rent this property.
* No pets allowed.
* Each vehicle requires a parking permit or at risk for towing by security.
* No oversized vehicles or trailers allowed.
* No smoking allowed.

Nice property
Property was very clean and property management was good to work with. We were aware of some construction around the condo unit but nothing was mentioned about an outdoor pool closure. Outdoor pool closed on 8/19/24 (before Labor Day) and this was not disclosed on the online information when we booked this unit. We had two toddlers and we were very disappointed that the pool was closed. We chose this property because of the outdoor pool, kiddies pool, beachfront property, and number of people it would sleep. It was stated that it slept 10 including a pullout sofa bed. However, there was no pullout sofa bed. We had to ask for an air mattress. The online information needs to be updated with correct information. If we would have known about the pool closing, we would have chosen another condo. I feel that we should have been compensated for this misrepresentation. But even after voicing our concerns, no one reached out to us.

First Girl’s Beach Trip
We had never been to Orange Beach before, but we throughly enjoyed ourselves. We will be back! Everything was perfect best time of year to come . Thanks for a great vacation!

Great Experience
Although it seem to be an older property, it is amazingly beautiful inside and offered enough personal space for each guest. This was the first time that I have vacationed in a condo and I was very pleased with the accommodations. I feel that I got a great deal overall!

Enjoyed our stay
This condo was very clean and we had a really good time. The view was amazing and location was very good. Communication from the property management was very good and we had no trouble with check in. The kitchen was adequately equipped but the quality and condition of the kitchenware could have been better. Be sure to bring or buy anything you might need including salt, pepper, sugar, etc. because none of it is provided. All of that aside, we had a really nice time and I would recommend!

Family Vacation
Our vacation was GREAT! The property was excellent. I really enjoyed the balcony and hearing the ocean at night. Everything you need in one place. Close to all places. The check in process was seamless and they kept in touch with you checking on your needs. Thank you for an enjoyable and peaceful stay!
