SUMMER HOUSE BLDG B CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:
At the end of Summer 2022, Summer House began a multi-year project to completely revamp the development. Once complete, Summer House will look like a brand new condo!! The project is halfway completed. Please review the details on what to expect when visiting Summer House Fall 2024 - Late Spring 2025. Please reach out to us with any questions. Rates are discounted to offset the construction activity.
Important Summer House Construction Information:
* BEACH ACCESS will remain open.
* OUTDOOR POOL CLOSURE starting August 19, 2024. The indoor pool will remain open.
* SAFETY FIRST! Construction areas will be restricted while overhead work is being performed. Pedestrian traffic will be routed to one side of the building. Please follow the signage for pedestrian safely.
* Interiors for Building B are complete! All new sliding doors and windows; new exterior doors; all new coatings and paint on the beach front decks; all new paint on the south side of the building. ALL OF THIS LOOKS GREAT!!
* Temporary railings are installed along NORTH SIDE floor level walk ways/corridors in the B building. These are not pretty, but they are safe and meet all codes. Permanent railing installs will begin in September. The floors levels they are working on will be closed to rentals during this time. We have these condos blocked off for this work, so you will not be staying on a floor where the work is being done.
* Construction workers will be present most days during Fall 2024 working on the exterior of the NORTH SIDE of the building.
Parking may be limited at times. If so, additional vehicles can use the overflow parking lot located directly across the street from the condo.

The sleeping arrangements are:
Master Bedroom: King sized bed that sleeps 2
Guest Bedroom 1: King sized bed that sleeps 2
Guest Bedroom 2: Twin over full bunk bed with trundle and a queen sized bed providing sleeping options for up to 6!
One of the most amazing features of this gulf front condo is the gulf front deck! It is HUGE!! 22' Wide by 11' Deep! Wow! One of the largest decks on the island!! It is set up like an outdoor living area!! Relax on the sofa with your coffee in the morning or have a snack at the 4 top table. The perfect spot to enjoy gulf breezes and amazing gulf views!!
The living room overlooks the beautiful shimmering turquoise Gulf of Mexico waters and is very spacious with lots of comfortable seating. A new, large 65" SMART TV Is found in the living room - you can easily log on to Netflix to enjoy a family movie night at the beach. The building was recently completely re-wired with a designated fiber internet line - the wifi at Summer House is AMAZING now! One of the best connections on the beach!
The large kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare delicious meals. New pots, pans, dishes, utensils! The dining room sits 6 and 2 more seats are at the kitchen bar.
Smart TV's are also found in the master bedroom and guest bedrooms.
Summer House on Romar Beach is a favorite among visitors to the area! The development has wonderful amenities:
• Large split-level gulf side pool
• Large grassy lawn overlooking the beach – perfect for outdoor fun!
• Indoor pool and hot tub

CLEAN BED GUARANTEE
All beds are dressed with fresh, luxurious sheets AND fresh bedding/quilts/comforters before EVERY rental! You are guaranteed to have a completely fresh and clean bed!!! You will also find each bathroom stocked with oversized fresh bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and bath mats straight from our laundry office! We started this in 2018 when we took our cleaning in house and created our housekeeping pision. We have complete control over our property cleaning and maintenance.
WHAT WE STOCK
As common for vacation rentals in our area, we provide one round of bath soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and toilet paper in the bathrooms. In the kitchen you will find one round of paper towels laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, and trash bags. These stocked amenities are intended to get you through the first night. We are not set up like a hotel so we do not provide daily housekeeping or amenity restocking. Please bring the extra items you will need for your vacation.

* No pets allowed.
* Each vehicle requires a parking permit or at risk for towing by security.

We had 6 adults and 3 kids for a week in the condo. The large balcony was my favorite part. It was a bit tight with a group our size, but overall we were very happy with the condo, the pool and the beach!

Relaxing
We really enjoyed our stay! Would definitely stay again. Only issue I had was the elevators kind of scared me by making loud noises and not acting right. Construction was going on outside the building but our condo was nice and very relaxing.

Spring Break Getaway
This was a great place to stay with kids and grandparents. We enjoyed the balcony and even saw dolphins swimming one morning!

Great beach view!
I had my 21 and 18 year olds with me, and their friends. Location was great, right on the beach. The building was old, but the condo itself was clean and very nice. The check in process was great and management was very responsive. Would stay here again!

Awesome condo
We had a blast at Summer House condo 1003B it was the perfect size for our family vacation and was so clean !! The balcony was spacious which was awesome because I love drinking my morning coffee looking at the beach! The rest of the condo complex was nice and the pool was great. While the indoor pool is across the parking lot it wasn’t nearly as inconvenient as k thought it would be and the pool was pretty nice! We will definitely be booking this unit again !!
