About this House

High up on the mountain crest, located in the clouds is a spectacular cabin called Almost Heaven. This real log exterior home has graceful windows, an affable front porch and happy hunter green roofing. Almost Heaven is snug in the treetops of an enchanting forest that makes for natural framework around layered panoramic mountain views.

The interior of the home includes a smartly laid out, open first level with everything you'd need in cozy reach. In this home, you are steps away from a fully stocked kitchen, dining area and rock breakfast bar. Almost Heaven is a Blue Ridge mountain getaway joy with a floor to ceiling rock gas fire place, and rich leather furniture you can sink into as you gather on those idyllic summer nights to watch the moon's shadows dance atop the mountains. Soft summer breezes and fireflies flickering outside the windows beckon you outdoors. Here, most guests live on the decks overlooking amazing mountain views. On the main level, there is a stainless gas grill and a covered dining / lounging area. If that isn't enough, the lower level offers a full array of recreation with a pool table, ping pong and air hockey. Additionally, the lower level has a large covered outdoor living and dining area with a wood burning fireplace and a 6 person hot tub with spectacular long range mountain views. Here, are also steps that lead down to a beautifully crafted outdoor fire pit area with built-in seating. This is a perfect spot to catch up with one another while roasting marshmallows and gazing out toward the spectacular North Georgia Mountains.

Fightingtown Creek Nature Park is literally steps from Almost Heaven and all trails are completed! This beautiful 190-acre park includes 12 miles of natural biking/hiking trails. Bring your hiking shoes or mountain bikes, because you'll be approximately 100 feet from this gorgeous nature park! Plans for the future include a parking lot pavilion, disc golf course, apiary, picnic areas, nature based interpretive signage and native plants and wildlife supportive items.

All of Almost Heaven's three bedrooms are privately tucked away on their own floor and each has its own bathroom. The master is on the top with a king bed and an incredible sunroom with long range mountain views. It also has it's own coffee bar so you can snuggle up with the luxury throws and watch the breathtaking sunrises. The main level includes a queen bed and another bedroom is downstairs with a queen bed and queen tempurpedic futon in the game room level. All have Woolrich bedding and 500 thread count sheets. Media - This enchanting Georgia mountain cabin rental is indeed a Lil' Slice of Heaven. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a few couples, this two bedroom cabin has plenty of room but is small enough to feel warm and cozy. It's a place so relaxed and comfortable; you'll feel like you're walking on clouds.

Your ride up Cherry Log Mountain will set the tone for your tranquil escape. As you wind along the scenic drive, you'll see slices of mountains between the trees, letting you know you'll soon arrive at your final destination — another 'Lil' Slice of Heaven.'

Natural finish tongue and groove walls, as well as Amish and mountain log furniture, give this tastefully decorated all-wood cabin its authentic alpine feel. Your eyes will be drawn to its great mountain-themed artwork and the many touches of love put into its décor. Relax on the sofa or two rockers with a good book in front of the wood-burning stone fireplace — even on the chilliest winter night, you'll feel warm and cozy inside.

Naturally, you'll also want to make the most of being in the great outdoors. Whether you prefer sun or shade, there are plenty of both to be had on the deck or covered porch. Sip refreshing lemonade while lounging on the porch swing or one of the rockers. Looking through the canopied trees towards the mountaintops, you'll feel so at peace here in your quaint little haven. Lil' by lil', the sky will change a spectacular array of colors before you as the sun goes down. Enjoy romantic evenings under the stars as you share a champagne toast by the light of the gas fire stand, or while immersed in the soothing bubbles of the hot tub.

Both charming bedrooms, found on the main level, offer heavenly mountain views and adorable, nature-themed quilts draped over queen beds. Snuggle under the covers with the one you love and enjoy a pine night's sleep. In the morning, you can step out to the deck if you'd like to take in a truly glorious sunrise.

Spend some time on cloud nine with your special someone, and enjoy your own Lil' Slice of Heaven in the North Georgia Mountains.

Excellent Place to Stay We love Blue Ridge. We've been many times and stay in a new cabin each time. This time we brought my parents and they lover it too. The cabin was perfect for our family.

Mardi Gras break This was our second stay at the cabin. The cabin is wonderful and scenery is breathtaking. I hope to have many more stays at the cabin.

Great trip The outdoor fireplace deck was wonderful. Thank you for all the good firewood. Please note, we tried to leave the trash as directed and we were told to leave the trash in the kitchen because the receptacle for the trash would not unlock.

Weekend Getaway We have a great time. There were 6 of us and we did not feel cramped. The cabin was everything the pictures show and we all had our privacy.

Amazing view It was a beautiful cabin with a breathtaking view. We enjoyed all of the amenities. The only 2 things were… one is the air hockey table and foosball table or not in the cabin like they are listed on the pictures. Also, the heat went out and we had to call the management team. it was after hours and it took them over an hour to call us back. Luckily, one of the members of our family had the exact same type of furnace and he was able to reset it. Other than that it was a very pleasant experience. Literally cannot get past the view.

N/A Set-Up and Location was amazing. Was not able to check in on time. Home was nasty dirty. Clean to the eye when you walk in but awful once you start unpacking or cooking. Hot tub was not working and I clearly asked when I reserved if hot tub was up and running. Called and never a call back or anyone to come fix it. My oldest son had to UTube the model and fix ourselves. So much to list and just can't. We left early as well.

Beautiful! We have stayed here twice and love it! Beautiful views and property. Love that it’s not too close to the crowds but not too far from the action either. Will definitely be back!

Amazing views! We loved staying at Almost Heaven! The views were absolutely amazing! The cabin was super clean and provided all that we needed for our stay. Although it was the summer, we still had a lovely fire outside on the deck every night and even had a camp fire for the kids. The grill was brand new and the furniture was updated and super comfy. Loved the upstair recliners - you could just sink in and take a nap. The kids loved having their own room downstairs with everything they needed. The only drawback was the hot tub- it needs to be updated. It wouldn’t get hotter than 94… we tried everything to get the temp up. It’s pretty old but we still enjoyed it. Overall, loved the property and would definitely go back!
