About this House
Welcome to Maison de la Mer, where the ocean and sand meet and the best memories are created! Our townhome is conveniently located in Prominence, close to our community's resort pool, and the Big Chill entertainment and shopping venue. We are just a stone's throw from the beach, Deer Lake State Park, and our local attractions such as Seaside and the Old Florida fish House.
Checking in is always easy. Simply enter your personal door code into our high security lock on the front door and vacation begins.
Come on in and make yourself at home! This charmer features an easy and inviting open floorplan the entire family will enjoy. The living room has a cozy layout with two seating areas. One is across from the bar and closest to the large Smart TV for optimal viewing, and the other is by the balcony where a cozy conversation or a good book can be enjoyed. The kitchen table has seating for 6 with 4 additional spots at the bar. In the kitchen you will find it a pleasure to cook with our farmhouse sinks, sprawling quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, upgraded appliances and all of the necessary tools and serving utensils. After your meal, step outside to the private balcony and enjoy!
This home features 3 comfortable bedrooms for you to choose from. The master suite is complete with a king size bed, private bathroom, a writing desk for those who may work from home or have homework and ample closet space as well. The master bathroom has his and her sinks and a spacious stand up shower. The first guest bedroom has a queen bed and generous closet space. The second bedroom is similarly appointed with a full bed and all bedrooms feature smart TV’s for your entertainment as well as lovely foliage views. The guest bedrooms also share a bathroom with a combination shower and tub. There is also a half bath on the first floor by the main living area. We also have a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.
Play: We are just a short walk or bike ride from our neighborhood pool and also from the Big Chill – a premiere entertainment spot for locals and guests alike! You will find shopping, dining, entertainment and more just minutes from this home! The beach is also conveniently located and a short ride away via car or bike! We are located between Seagrove and Alys beach, making it easy to find something fun for every member of your family.
There is 1 parking space in the garage and 2 in the driveway. No street parking available.
Starter Pack: We provide our guests with Gilchrist & Soames hand and body soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, dish sponge, coffee packs and laundry detergent pods to get you through the first night or two. Guests are responsible for supplying their own amenities once our initial pack is depleted.
Cancellation Policy: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of stay will receive 100% refund. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% a refund. For your protection, we encourage you to procure Traveler’s Insurance. Guests are required to electronically sign the rental agreement within TWO days of booking, otherwise the reservation is subject to cancellation.
Our Allergen Free Clean Initiative: Sheets, towels and blankets are professionally laundered using all Organic Allergen Free products, our home is also cleaned with Hypoallergenic, Non-Toxic, Natural, Chemical Free cleaning products. We have an Air Purifier integrated into the home's HVAC system. This is a Perfect vacation home for guests with allergies, and sensitive respiratory and immune systems. Bad property management company, nice property.
about 3-5 days before our vacation I got a message from the property management company that there would be no golf cart as part of the rental and that they had made a mistake on their original paperwork emails to me. Well at the time we booked there was a cart or else we never would have booked this property the first place. The cart shows on the original paperwork i signed. After they told me i would have to rent a golf cart from a 3rd party for $700-$800 a week at my own expense I asked for some compensation. They responded by saying they sent 1 mistaken email. I continued to receive multiple emails from the same company about the golf cart that "supposedly did not exist" several times throughout the week. When we signed up for this property the ad listed a golf cart. After we made our reservation the owner must have told property management group that they didn't want to the golf cart as part of the rental. (when we got the property the golf cart was in the garage with a big sign "dont use"). Again why would the property management company send me multiple emails about golf use if the golf cart wasn't a part of the original agreement. After reading reviews it appears as if the property management company has a history of doing this to other renters. They should have comped us for some of the golf cart fees we had to pay the 3rd party or a least provided some benefit. Needless to say they did not care or try to help remedy the situation. They were rude and deceiving.
