About this House
The Blue Bay POOL Home features 3 Bedrooms & 3 Bathrooms while accommodating up to 11 guests. Seaside Flare with a hint of Farm style Charm!! Luxury and Comfort everywhere you look. Coastal colors throughout the home truly make you feel like your on vacation! Located in a prime area...…out the back door is the Intercoastal Waterway leading to the Gulf of Mexico. The house has a brand new resort style HEATED pool with a shallow sun pad area for lounging or for the kiddos, led lighted deck jets, bar stools and a swim up bar. There are also 3 massage jets for unwinding. You will see dolphins several times a day as well as manatees and manta rays. Just 2 short blocks to the white sands of Indian Rocks Beach and many of the best local dining spots. This home is supplied with upgraded appliances, modern coastal furniture and design and has everything you'll need for entertaining your family and friends!
Walking into this home you will find an open floor plan. The Living and Dining areas are spacious and decorated with Coastal Colors and a Farm House style Flare. The Living room features 2 Large Reclining Leather Sofas, a coffee table along with 2 end tables. Wall mounted TV and a ceiling fan. The Dining room has a large farm house style table and 8 chairs.
The Second Living Area offers seating for 4 with armchairs and also includes 2 ottomans. There is a Queen Size Murphy pull out bed, TV and ceiling fan. The 8 ft sliding door offers spectacular views of the Waterway.
The Kitchen has a separate coffee station, a counter table and 3 barstools for guests. Keurig, Drip coffee makers and a ninja blender are provided for making a variety of beverages. Refrigerator, stove top, wall oven with microwave and a dishwasher.
The Master Bedroom is very large and decorated in seascape colors. King size bed, Leather loveseat that becomes a full bed w/mattress, oversized bean bag chair, end tables, TV and ceiling fan. You have your own entrance to the backyard. The modern ensuite bathroom has a beautiful tiled shower with glass door and a dual sink vanity and tasteful lighting.
Bedroom #2 features a King size bed, an armchair, bedside tables, TV and a ceiling fan.
Bedroom #3 has a Queen size bed and also a Bunk bed with a pull out trundle making it possible to sleep 5 guests. Bookshelf steps leading to the top bunk, Dresser and night table. Wall mounted TV and ceiling fan.
Bathroom #2 has a Tub/Shower combination with sliding glass doors, single vanity
Bathroom #3 offers a step in shower with grab handle and single vanity
There is an extra large Laundry Room a utility sink, a beverage refrigerator, and stacked washer and dryer.
Outside there is a sectional couch, a 4 person dinette, and a large propane Blackstone griddle - perfect for cooking an entire pack of bacon, 2 dozen eggs, and toast at once! Or making excellent smashburgers, grilled chicken or fish, or vegetables. Hibachi is amazing on the Blackstone.
Single and double kayaks are provided along with paddles and life vests. There is an island the next basin over to the North with a sandy beach and picnic area. If you want a longer trek, you can paddle 2 miles South to the free IRB city marina downtown or several dockside restaurants.
A 2022 6-passenger golf cart with a canopy is provided for your stay at no cost to you (access provided upon signing a waiver)). Great for getting to the beach and grabbing a bite to eat! *Note that the golf cart may be unavailable in the rare event of unforeseen repairs or yearly maintenance. Though rare, we cannot 100% guarantee the use of the golf cart for a period of or throughout your stay.
Beach gear is provided including beach chairs, an umbrella, beach towels, body boards, cooler, and more.
Home offers an EV charger: 50 amp 4 prong receptacle available for EV charging (guest should bring their own car specific charger)
House Rules:
1. No smoking/vaping in the unit. No illegal substances on the premises.
2. No parties or events.
3. No pets. Please notify management of any service animals.
4. You are vacationing in a residential area, please be mindful of noise during all hours. Quiet hours start at 10pm and you must adhere to local noise ordinance.
5. Rinse off and return any and all beach equipment at the end of each day. Do not leave equipment out overnight.
​​​​​​​6. Docking of up to 2 jet skis, a boat up to 35ft, or other watercraft is available upon request. Use of the lift is not permitted.
Parking:
This property provides 4 parking spaces.
Guests should bring their own toiletries, dishwasher pods, and laundry pods. Each unit will have two rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom, soap for every sink, a trash bag, and at least one roll of paper towels in the kitchen. 2 dishwasher pods and 2 laundry pods are also provided if applicable to the rental. We provide one set of bath towels per guest. For guest convenience, we also provide beach towels.
Within walking distance, you will find some of the best area restaurants and ice cream shops as well as beachwear shopping locations.
The surrounding local area has some great day trips: Clearwater Beach, Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo featuring holiday lights late Nov-Jan,1st, John's Pass Village and Boardwalk, Tampa Lowry Zoo, Florida Aquarium, Clearwater Aquarium (dolphin encounters), Sunken Gardens, Dinosaur World, Ellenton Outlet Malls, Ice Skating at Countryside Mall, Children's Museums, enjoy a Tampa Bay Ray's game at Tropicana Field, a Buccaneers Football game in Tampa, or check out some of the pro baseball teams during their local Spring Training, also Disney World and downtown Disney are just two hours away.
Water excursions are available at Clearwater Beach Marina and John's Pass Village. Dolphin cruises, Snorkeling Trips, Island hopping, Jet ski and Boat rentals, Parasailing, Pirate Ship, Speedboat Tours are among the choices.

Best vacation yet
6 adults and 2 kids stayed at the Blue Bay Home for 5 nights and it was everything we needed. The location was amazing without the crazy traffic that Clearwater and other locations have. It’s right on the bay and we saw dolphins multiple times. We used the kayaks and paddle boards in the bay. The pool was a huge hit. It offered plenty of walking shallow areas for the kids and a spot to layout while still being in the pool. We used the golf cart to go almost everywhere local for shops, the beach, and meals. Management and maintenance were quick to respond when we had questions. The beach wasn’t even too crowded and was within a very short walking distance straight down the road from the house! The house has coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, 3 bedrooms and the kids loved the bunk beds, plenty of tv’s, 3 bathrooms each with a shower, washer and dryer, dishwasher… it was perfect! We took a dolphin cruise on Little Toot in Clearwater and went to John’s Pass one evening for dinner and saw multiple pods of dolphins there as well. The house was clean and we had the best vacation possible.

Wonderful property
We were very pleased with how the house matched the description online! Everything we were looking for and more. The location on the water with dolphins to watch and jumping fish, plenty of room in the pool, ease of getting to the beach and restaurants with golf cart, all was awesome. House was clean and modern. Really can’t think of anything negative. We had a great vacation!

Priced Incorrectly
For what we paid, the property dose not meet the value/price intersection. Cleanliness issues, extremely uncomfortable beds (stains on mattresses, etc.), missing many major simple convenience items, pool heater issues not rapsonded too (very small). As a regular VRBO family of 6, we are confident that we know the difference between high end/high quality/well managed properties and mediocre rentals. This place is mediocre. We booked over xmas break and couldnt have been more disappointed. Considering the enormous amount of options in Clearwater/IRB, I encourage anyone to avoid this place and seek other options. We hate to see another family waste their money.

Great Thanksgiving
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at the Blue Bay Home! The house was spotless and had everything we could need. The heated pool was amazing (especially since it was a little cold for typical Florida) and my kids loved the little fountains! The golf cart was so handy for quick trips to the beach and back. We saw dolphins every morning out in the canal/bay area and lots of various birds. Overall it was a wonderful stay and given the weather wasn't too great, we definitely used the full capacity of the home and outdoor area!

Expensive for what you get
This home was smaller than the pictures show. We were 3 older couples. The small bathroom has barely enough floor space to dry off after a shower. No space for toiletries. The pool heater did not seem to be working and the firepit also did not work. Reported the firepit and pool heater and a maintenance man came but was unhelpful. The outdoor dining set only had 5 chairs and at least 2 of them were rusted through in places. The outdoor rugs were well worn and turned up in one corner which was a trip hazard. There was junk strewn along both sides of the house outside including a broken chair, electrical junk, and various building materials. When you pay this much, I'd expect top notch, was disappointed.

Perfect Indian Rocks getaway
House was perfect. Loved the sunrise views from the master overlooking the water. Lovely setting at night with all the lights automatically turning the back yard / patio into the perfect setting. Heated pool and dock to fish from were clutch. Nice golf cart included with rental made it easy to get around and to the beach. House comes with lots of beach chairs and supplies. Management company was great to communicate with and do a good job preparing the property for guests. Great location and neighborhood.

Great Location and Amazing Property
This was a great location and amazing property. It was everything we expected - a three families were able to sleep and enjoy themselves comfortably, while allowing plenty of options for activities. I would recommend this property to anyone, and would 100% re-book as well. Thank you so much!

Great vacation house
Great location, just 2 blocks from the beach with golf cart and free parking at the beach. House was older than I anticipated but in good shape. 3 couples and a 2 year old was in our party, house could not accommodate any more than that. Pool was great. Would definitely rent house again.
