About this House
Our beach cottages are nestled in between tropical lush landscapes. The Yachtsman is like your very own beach home! It's a one story freestanding cottage. It's beachfront, open, airy and nautically decorated with beautiful ocean and sunset views from the kitchen and living spaces.
Two bedroom, one bath cottage with full kitchen, dining table for six, large living area with plenty of room for entertaining, queen sleeper sofa with memory gel mattress in extra living space, with a door that leads to your own patio with pavers that faces the Gulf. On your private patio you will find a six person dining set and retractable awning. Both bedrooms feature a queen bed with plush mattress and Tommy Bahama bedding, bathroom has a stand up shower. This unit sleeps up to six guests.
The cottage was built in the 50's and though it has been renovated still holds that great Florida charm with beautiful wooden ceilings and built ins cabinets.
The Arbors resort has four separate cottages, five total and has a heated and chilled pool, outdoor dining table for each cottage, towel stands for your beach and swim gear, shared free onsite laundry, shuffleboards, private beach front area, two shared gas grills and mature lush landscape truly giving a unique vacation experience. We have frequent guests who come with extended family to celebrate anniversaries, weddings, family reunions and holidays. Guests can stay in separate cottages but share the outdoor living spaces. Some large groups prefer to rent the entire complex under "Arbors Seaside Cottages Complex"- this way it can sleep up to thirty guests.
*Covered pavilion area is reserved for Beach Lodge guests only.
*Pet policy* We can accept 1 small dog that weighs 35 pounds or less in this rental with paid non refundable pet fee. Any other requests must be submitted and approved by management. Pet must be on a leash at all times when outside of the unit; is not allowed onto the furniture, sand, beach, pool area or pool. Pet must not bother any surrounding guests and pet waste MUST be picked up by the pet owner.
House Rules:
1. No smoking/vaping in the unit. No illegal substances on the premises
2. No parties or events
3. No unauthorized pets. Please notify management of any service animals.
4. You are vacationing in a residential area, please be mindful of noise during all hours. Quiet hours start at 10pm and you must adhere to local noise ordinance.
Guests should bring their own toiletries, dishwasher pods, and laundry pods. Each unit will have two rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom, soap for every sink, a trash bag, at least one roll of paper towels in the kitchen. 2 dishwasher pods and 2 laundry pods are also provided if applicable to the rental. We provide one set of bath towels per guest. For guest convenience, we also provide beach towels.
Parking:
This unit has 1 reserved parking space.
It is conveniently located down the street from Guilty Sea Sports Pub, and VIP Mexican (previously Aqua Prime) You will also find the following places within walking distance: JD's Restaurant & Bar, Slyce Pizza Bar, Jimmy Guana's, PJ's Oyster House, Jake's Cantina, Crabby Bills, Pipo N Betty's Bakery andpi an Ice Cream shop with over 100 flavors. Also within walking distance are some local beach shops including beach rentals. There is also a CVS and a post office located close to Crabby Bills. For the kids and kids at heart, there's a small waterpark located close by.
The surrounding local area has some great day trips as well: Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo featuring holiday lights late Nov-Jan,1st, John's Pass Village and Boardwalk, Tampa Lowry Zoo, Florida Aquarium, Clearwater Aquarium, Sunken Gardens, Dinosaur World, Ellenton Outlet Malls, Children's Museums, enjoy a Tampa Bay Ray's game at Tropicana Field, a Buccaneers Football game in Tampa, or check out some of the pro baseball teams during their local Spring Training, also Disney World and downtown Disney is just two hours away.

Cute beach cottage
Very cute beach cottage! Location is amazing and right on the beach. So nice to have private patio that leads to beach. Cottage is small and bathroom is very small. Property is maintained well outside. Had a wonderful visit with family!

Paradise
Had a great time with my husband at this property! The views are amazing, and the beach is quiet and relaxing. Unfortunately, Hurricane Ian had other plans. The management company was amazing. They let us shift our reservation so we got a day and a half before evacuation orders were issued. They were very understanding, and issued a refund for the rest of our trip. We will book again!

Wonderful location, charming cottage
The location of this cottage in proximity to the beach couldn't be beat. The cottage was cute and charming, although there were a few things that could use some attention... the tattered chair, the blinds weren't working, and the shower wasn't draining properly, and some noisy fans. But overall we very much enjoyed our stay there, and plan to return next year. We had a very short walk through the dunes to get to the beach, which was amazing. The back patio area was really nice to have. The landscaping was so pretty, and clever in the way it provided privacy where needed. The pool was about the size of an average backyard pool, and it was very clean and refreshing. There were lots of sand toys that the kids could use. The kitchen was well stocked with tools, and dishes, although a larger frying pan would've been nice. I think that's all I've got to say!

Located right on the beach
My family and I had a great time here. We spent most of our time in the ocean, at the pool, or getting food from the restaurants across the street. I loved how clear the gulf water is and how far out you can walk in the water. Regarding the pool, even though it was small and shared with occupants of the other cottages at this location, it still was big enough for my two 8-year old twins and another couple's three boys ranging in ages of 10 - 15 to enjoy themselves. It's depth was between 3 and 4 feet. We ate every night at VIP Mexican restaurant directly across the street. A couple of nights we picked up our food to go and a couple of nights we ate at the restaurant. All of the tacos were tasty and I especially loved the shrimp tacos. We also ate at JD's bar and grill for lunch which was directly south of the other restaurant. Both times we ate there, they had live music being played which was enjoyable to listen to. We also got dessert at a local ice cream shop that was five short blocks away so we walked to it both times we went. The shop boasts 140 different flavors and they definitely had a lot. This was a favorite stop for my entire family.

Awesome location and very relaxing. Just steps away to the beach.
Wroth the money we paid. We have our private patio. It was easy for us and my son. We just bring beach towels to the beach and when my son hungry, we just walk back to the bungalow just took us for two second. The bathroom is very outdated needs some work to do. The cleaning lady didn't wash or change the pillow and bath sheets in the master bedroom. I can smell very strong someone else body odor definitely wasn't mine or my husband or my son. We had to do the laundry. I thought that was part of the cleaning fee. Otherwise we love the location.
