Resort-Style Cabin Near Town
What an incredible find! This cabin is so charming; both beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and the stacked drawer-style refrigerator freezer offers more storage room than you'd think! The bathroom and shower are large and luxurious and the bed is very comfortable. We loved sitting on the front porch, enjoying the cool breezes and the mountain air. We plan to rent again soon.

Cozy Honeymoon Hideaway
What a moody, rustic, chic mountain cabin! The decor was thoughtful, the furnishings cozy, and the location ideal. Fly Creek manages to feel both tucked away while being less than two minutes from town. You can't beat a restorative trip in Highlands with the quaint shops, elevated restaurant scene, and great hiking/waterfalls... and Fly Creek is the perfect spot from which to enjoy all that Highlands has to offer!

Exquisite property
My husband and I stayed at Fly Lake cottage while I participated in a three-day workshop at The Bascom. The cottage was clean, cozy, and beautifully appointed. I’d love to stay there again and heartily recommend it. There was a little garden where guests may cut flowers to bring inside. I left the gorgeous dahlia intact but was tempted. There also was a lovely fire pit outside. Check in and check out information was thorough and clear.

"Cute" Property in Great Location
This is a thoroughly enjoyable property in a convenient, near-town location. Kitchen and bath have been recently renovated, and although we didn't cook, appliances and cookware were high-end. Adirondack inspired decor was comfy and serviceable, and adequate for two persons. Improvements? Linens were a little "tired," and for some reason there was no liner or trash bags provided for the Simplehuman trash can, leaving us without a place to dispose trash. Also, the high tech washer/dryer required an app that my iphone wouldn't download. In sum, despite a few glitches, this is a terrific property for visitors seeking a budget friendly, convenient location with ready access to Highland's hiking trail network.

Perfect location and quaint cabin
This was a great small cabin loaded with personality and all the amenities we needed.. The location was perfect and very close to downtown Highlands, perfect for a family wedding weekend.

Good relax in the mountains
Nice little spot in the Highlands. Rental had everything we needed. Easy drive to town, we walked a few times. Great walking right near the rental. We saw many trails when we were on our walk but were a little nervous about bears so stayed on the back roads, very little traffic and pretty scenery. Enjoyed the tennis and pickleball at the park near town. Good restaurants and shopping all very close. We had a great time, thank you very much!

First Time in Highlands
We really enjoyed our stay in Highlands. The property is in an excellent location with short drives or moderate walks to downtown. Easy check in and easy check out process. Beautiful little cabin. Excellent experience overall.

Highlands Getaway
Perfect cottage for two. Thoughtfully appointed. Everything we needed for a long weekend. We didn’t cook, but kitchen was well stocked. Loved the heated floor and large shower in the bathroom. Quiet location, but close to Highlands.

Lovely getaway cabin!
Well-appointed and beautifully decorated, this is a cozy cabin with perfect space for two. It was spotlessly clean, and had every amenity one would need for a getaway in a mountain setting. We particularly enjoyed reading on the porch and walking along the greenway path downtown, and we fell in love with all Highlands has to offer. Very much appreciated the info about hikes and area attractions provided by the hosts.

This property is adorable, clean and ideally situated in Mirror Lake, a close walk to downtown Highlands. The owners have a great eye for design and have made the cottage not only charming but comfortable. Would definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family!

Cozy mountain cottage
Cozy little cottage in close proximity to Main Street where all the shops and fabulous restaurants are located. It was a great place to stay for two, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. It was cold in the mornings and we loved the heated bathroom floors. We didn’t cook, but there appeared to be everything you’d need. There wasn’t a table up to eat at but I think we saw one you could set up. Appliances all look new including a washer and dryer. We hiked during the day and went to amazing restaurants at night, so we weren’t there that much , but It was a perfect stay for our purposes while visiting the beautiful little mountain town of Highlands.
