Our neighborhood is transitional yet packed with awesome neighbors who really get along well. We have cookouts, help each other on home projects, and socialize regularly. Some of our neighbors have been on this street between 70 and almost 100 years! They've seen some incredible changes in Charleston history. There really isn't any danger here, but sometimes people can feel uneasy from the appearance of the unique Charleston melting pot. If you're uncomfortable with an area that can look a little rough around the edges, you're probably best investing your weekend in a hotel, as even the multi million dollar homes slightly North of Broad Street have government housing by them. It's simply something else unique to Charleston!

We love going for walks through all areas of the neighborhood or going for walks or runs to Hampton and Brittlebank Parks near by. Little Line, DAPS, BoTo Bodega, Moe’s Crosstown and Fuel are just a few of our favorite spots within walking distance and great food.

Quaint property! This was our first visit to Charleston and it was a great trip, despite the thunderstorms the day we arrived. Everything was easy to find and the home very cozy and comfortable. Would recommend, although we thought the location was closer to downtown. Very well stocked kitchen but fyi to the owner, despite following the directions for the coffee maker it leaks quite a bit out the back while brewing.

Great location to downtown! This upstairs unit was convenient for walking throughout downtown as well as day excursions via car. Unit was clean, comfortable, quiet and offered extra touches which was a nice welcome. Kinga was quick to reply throughout the rental process - thank you! We would highly recommend this property for an easy, convenient stay in Charleston. Even though parking can be sparse at times, we were able to park on street nightly. We look forward to our return...

Exceeded Expectations Property was extremely clean, well equipped. and was only about 10 minutes from all the downtown Charleston attractions and restaurants. Located in a neighborhood with a number of neat little restaurants and markets within walking distance. Kinga was a super host and went above and beyond.

Perfect rental for Charleston stay! We really enjoyed our stay in this property. The owners were super friendly and very accommodating. It was a perfect space to spend the weekend with our family and pups. The house was impeccably clean. The bottle of wine and snacks that were left for us was a nice touch. We would definitely rent this space for our next trip to Charleston if available. PS the shared space in the backyard was absolutely gorgeous. We hope you had a beautiful wedding Kinga! Congratulations! We enjoyed meeting both of you!
