Not for me
This was a horrible stay, not until after paid rules sent can’t change the ax and the house was hot as hell. Said can turn to 70. But locked thermostat to not be able to change temp. Fans are on slow so couldn’t even turn them up. House smells like old cooking grease, the plumping is horrible. The water faucets have so much calcium build up it goes all over the place, the master shower has poor drainage so standing in ankle deep dirty water in shower then there’s shower itself turned wrong way it’s a leak to the kitchen. Beds are not comfortable . Wi-Fi is slow, and barely works. The neighborhood is sketchy. You can hear the neighbors outside all night. Parking is used up by everyone else so can’t even park in front of house.

Casa Grace
Would recommend property. Very clean. House was built in 1911 but updated. Neighborhood is an urban downtown location. Some extremely nice homes along with some rough areas. Only negatives ; kitchen cookware needs updating. Frying pans old, no baking pans. Plenty of dishes and utensils. Master bath is stunning. Drains do not drain properly. Water standing in shower due to slow drainage. Water pressure in modern sinks has been reduced to allow drains to empty. Price was a great value. Positives definitely outweigh negatives.

Awesome stay!
My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks. The house was clean, the neighborhood was lovely, much better than what some other reviews suggest. Jason was a lovely host, and the house is in a location that is a short drive from mostly everything in Jax. About 20-30 minutes from the airport. Will probably book again next time we take a trip to Jax!

Wonderful property, slightly rough neighborhood
The house was beautiful and comfortable, and only minutes from downtown with easy access to all other parts of the city. The neighborhood itself is up and coming but not the safest feeling with the amount of homeless in the area. Still a wonderful place to stay.

Great place, perfect for our needs.

Amazing house but not so clean
The house itself is amazing—but it wasn’t clean whatsoever … and i’m not a germaphobe, but I was pretty disgusted. Parking directly in front of house mostly not available—and it’s a neighborhood that’s being revitalized so I wished I could have parked in front of the house. I did let the owner know about not being clean and parking issue. I also asked for ac to be lowered at night but that didn’t happen (house rules says you can set to 70, but it’s locked at 72). Porches and balcony not used because not clean.

Magazine beautiful
The house is charming on the outside and magazine beautiful on the inside. The neighborhood is quite. The house is very clean inside because the owner asks you take your shoes off. Overall it was a very nice stay.

Downtown Charmer
This stunningly, redecorated home looks like it is right out of an HGTV episode. No expense was spared in totally rebuilding this beautiful, century-home. While the neighborhood is still a work-in-progress, it's downtown location was very convenient to all highways, local golf courses and immediate restaurants. In more than 20 years of renting through Vrbo, this home is definitely in the running for most upscale home we have ever rented....

Jacksonville getaway
The house was wonderful in a less than ideal neighborhood. However, we always felt safe inside the home. Their were lots of homes being renovated, so it has a bright future. Convenient location to our family wedding venue. Spacious bedrooms, lovely kitchen and dining. We would recommend to others.

A great weekend in Jacksonville, FL
My wife and I wanted to experience something a little different, and the historic Springfield District delivered. The house is adorable and comfy. Once we figured out the heating/cooling, the property exceeded all of our expectations. There were plenty of cool places to hang out within a 20-minute walk. We LOVED the 1748 Bakehouse — the best latte I've had in quite a while.
