Hurricane Update: All amenities, including the pools and beach access, remain closed. However, there is a beach access directly next to the complex on Plaza Blvd open and we include a photo of the proximity in the listing. Like every complex in the area, there's always a possibility of some construction-related noise although no major work is currently scheduled. This noise could come from this complex or neighboring properties. The city sustained hurricane damage in 2022 and ongoing construction continues throughout the city.
Please note the Daytona Beach Resort is undergoing concrete restoration. While there is unlikely to be noise impacting your stay, there are preemptive support beams around the resort on various balconies. You will still have a great view, but there may be a beam in the view as well. Also, out of an abundance of caution, DBR management has closed the parking garage until further notice. Off-site parking is available at an alternative location within walking distance. While this is ongoing, guests are only permitted one vehicle and will only be provided one parking pass. Recreational vehicles and trailers are not permitted on-site but we can provide guests with the contact information for an off-site parking company when requested.
This third floor unit was just refurbished and includes all new furniture and linens. It is handicap accessible as well! Two queen beds accommodate up to 4 guests comfortably. This is one of the view, oceanfront studios at Daytona Beach Resort that includes a private balcony as well. The unit includes a fully loaded eletronic game table that can keep the family entertained for hours! It includes nearly endless virtual board games and other game options.
This unit offers unique handicap friendly features such as an accessible bathroom, wider door-ways, and a lower microwave. This unit is conveniently located on the third floor directly across from the elevators and parking garage entrance. The bathroom includes an accessible vanity, toilet grab rails, shower grab rails, an accessible-height toilet, and a handheld, adjustable shower head. The area in the studio is left intentionally wider between furniture in order to accomodate mobility devices. The unit also includes a reclining easy chair for those guests who require one.

This building is within walking distance to many of Daytona’s popular restaurants such as Riptides, Black Sheep Pub, Dimitri's, Bertie’s Good Eats, Bonefish Grill, Stonewood Grill, Olive Garden, Denny's and Big Tuna's Beach Bar and Grill.

Absolutely loved the location and ocean view of the apartment. Parking and beach access a bit inconvenient but not a big deal. Property was undergoing renovations which was disclosed prior to booking. Would like to revisit when the amenities are open again!

Deceiving
No Pool, No access to the beach. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Never going to use this place ever again. I’m going to put this Hotel on Facebook to never use. Looks like they are ready to close the doors. Not doing any repairs to make it nicer so I’m just very disappointed.

The property has an amazing view to the ocean, unfortunately the facility is in a really rough shape construction is going on on upper levels and as soon as you get to the balcony they had some construction materials and the pools are in a rough shape the property itself it was pretty good

It was ok but lacking in some areas
We were told last minute that the pool was closed. Then we got there and there was an indoor and one outdoor pool open. There seemed to be a lack of knowledge by the company. The resort staff was not very helpful to guests. Bar, food, pool cantina was closed due to hurricane damage. This is unavoidable but wasn’t mentioned. The listing said washer/dryer. They fails to mention it was coin operated two sets per floor. The AC had a hard time keeping up with the heat. We had it set at 65 the whole week but it was never too cold.The view and beach were great. Parking was nearby even though the garage is closed due to damage. The condo was very clean. The resort building was not that well kept. Overall we enjoyed our stay but probably would try a different spot if we go to Daytona again.

Relaxing Experience
The view from the hotel room and balcony was absolutely beautiful. We went into the water a couple of times but could have spent the entire time watching the water from the hotel room and been content. Wonderful sunrise photos right from the room balcony, as well.

Thanksgiving get away.
Host was first class and very helpful. Room was great. The view was perfect. Parking at this property is temporarily a nightmare. There is no beach at hide tide. Daytona is recovering. Will never be the same.

This was a beautiful property. The room has an amazing balcony view of the beach, two outside pools and steps away from the beach. There’s also a pool bar which we loved.

Very nice stay
I've never been to Florida before so it was a nice place to stay right by the ocean. Nice room and balcony. Pool outside and bar also. Places close by to go to if you need food/ groceries and stuff like that.

We loved our stay! Hotel was nice and staff was very friendly. We we definitely stay again. If there was anything I’d recommend it would be a full length mirror and a hook on the bathroom door for hanging your things.

My feedback
Overall I would say that my stay was good. The entrance to the property needs updating, the gym on the facility was inadequate. The staff that I encountered was very pleasant. The room that I stayed in could use some minor updates, such as removing the carpet and replacing it with new flooring, and also new tile in bathroom. Overall I would stay in that room again for that great price. Thank you.

Soooo relaxing!!
Absolutely loved the convenience of this location. Steps from the beach and steps from parking in the garage. Even though we were right by the elevators it was surprisingly quiet. Would definitely stay here again!!
