Located on E Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL, this is a private residence and not a hotel room but you are welcome to use all the hotel's facilities like the pool, Jacuzzi, gym, etc.. This unit has free wi-fi, TV, a kitchenette, a queen size bed, a pull-out sofa bed, and a great view of the Intracoastal. A 1/2 mile walk to the beach, and close to many restaurants, bars, and shops along Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd (A1A). Minutes away from Las Olas and downtown Fort Lauderdale. Walking distance to the famous water taxis that travel all along the waterways to many riverfront areas and downtown. This is a private residence that happens to be in a hotel. This is not a hotel room so do not expect room service, maintenance or housekeeping , etc. But, this means you get to use the pool, Jacuzzi, gym, etc. It's a small, (500 sq. ft.), but cozy little 1 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor at the end of the hall with a view of the intracoastal, two bars (poolside and in the lobby) and a restaurant.
Overlooks the waterways and is walking distance to many shopping areas, restaurants and bars.

Perfect location. Close to mall and grocery store. Water taxi on property. Restaurant and bar also on property. Owners were great and answered us promptly on questions we had. We will definitely return when going to Ft Lauderdale.

Very nice room and dinette overlooking the canal. Walking distance to State Park and the beach.
Great time meeting people at the outdoor bar. Were in town for my nephews over-the-top wedding and this place was within blocks of all of the weekends activities. Would stay here again.

Great beach getaway spot.
This property was a great place at a nice distance from the beach. Rick and Jill were amazing hosts and were always attentive when we contacted them for anything we needed. The place itself is all you need for a vacation with great amenities at the hotel it is in, and perfect location to the Galleria Mall as well as being great distance to Ft. lauderdale beaches. There’s also a water taxi stop right at the hotel making it super easy to utilize and see Ft. lauderdale in a unique way.

Nice Location & Plenty in Walking Distance
The Doubletree apartment is in a nice location across the intercoastal from the beach areas. The draw bridge traffic can be noisy when you first arrive, but it is not very noticeable at night. I enjoyed walking to the beach and also to restaurants in the Galleria area. Publix and Starbuck are only a couple of blocks towards town. The cleanliness was good, however there was some sand on the floor and heavy dust on some furniture - a new cleaning service might be required in the future. The outdoor bar and pool areas are also nice by the intercoastal.

Great location great value
Overall this was a great location… the only issues we had have already been stated in previous reviews. The kitchen could use a few more utensils. I’m sure not all guests plan on cooking… we did. For the value we would stay here again. A bit of TLC could take this from good to fantastic.

Perfect Location
Rick and Jill’s place was the perfect place for my boyfriend and I to stay for our vacation. It’s a short walk to the grocery store (Publix), the beach, and many restaurants and stores. The apartment is very cozy and clean and the hotel has a nice pool and hot tub to utilize. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Pre-cruise overnight
We stayed one night prior to leaving on a cruise and everything was excellent! This is a privately owned suite in a Hilton owned hotel, so you have access to all the hotel amenities (including fresh cookies at check in)! Rick even made sure we realized this when we booked in case booking a room directly would be less expensive. The room overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway and is also on the only floor with an ice machine. We will definitely book again in the future!

Everything was timely and cleanly, Rick was an amazing host for my girlfriend and I. He gave us recommendations and locations and overall was very friendly and inviting. Amazing room with all the right essentials along with a beautiful view of the canal.
