Pier Walk was built in 1970 and is a complex of 20 boutique furnished apartments with 26 parking spaces on Deerfield Island: 12 studios, 7-one bedrooms, and one two-bedroom. It has 22 listings that can host anywhere from 1 guest up to 16 guests at a time for larger groups and families. It has a courtyard swimming pool, is one block from the beach and walking distance to the main shopping and entertainment strip. We're family-owned and managed with several hundred happy, returning guests. After booking, guests receive our detailed online local guidebook and property house manual as well as a video tour link of the entire space to properly plan your stay.
Our 4-apartment listing with 8 parking spaces sleeps 16 guests combines the largest apartments at Pier Walk and can be reserved online in one booking. Or, for 12-16 guests and 10 parking spots, we can custom-combine 6 apartments with 6 bathrooms overlooking the pool deck that are all adjacent and facing each other on the first floor providing easy, secure access to the shared laundry room, pool bathroom and pool shower 24 hours a day.
Pier Walk can host up to 50 guests and 26 parking spots between all 20 furnished units. All bookings are based on real-time availability but dates can be held by request for 24-48 hours.

This spacious, minimalist designed two-bedroom is Pier Walk's largest apartment, with 3 parkng spots and is located on the second floor, overlooking the center of the courtyard swimming pool with LED's that light up at night after you watch the sunset, to serve as an evening backdrop from the west-facing windows. It can sleep up to 6 guests and comes with two or three driveway parking spots (unassigned). It is the only Pier Walk apartment with its own private washer and dryer included for personal use.
As you enter your apartment you'll find a picture frame on the left-hand wall, where you can use your mobile phone to scan QR codes right away for the Pier Walk WiFi and password as well as the URL to our PIer Walk online guidebook. Framed along the walls and the hallway thru out the apartment are original, vintage postcards from South Florida and beyond, dating from 1930s to the 1970s, sharing a little history from visitors and the experiences they share with friends and families over nearly 100 years.
Now you become a part of that history and tradition at Pier Walk.
Your primary bedroom has a queen bed that sleeps two guests, a smart TV, ample closets and a large window on the west side that overlooks the pool while the east window lets in the morning sun or you can sleep in using the white blackout blinds. The primary bedroom offers an optional office amenities package for $25, which includes a dedicated workstation with a wireless color printer and all necessary supplies for all your Work-From-Home needs.
Adjacent to the primary bedroom is the bathroom which has a double sink, and a tub and shower combination, perfect for larger groups. Beyond the bathroom is the guest bedroom which has a queen bed that sleeps two guests, a smart TV and a large closet space.
The fully stocked kitchen has been updated with white quartz countertops, white cabinets, a flat glass top oven and all stainless steel appliances, including a large fridge with an automatic ice maker, and a filtered water dispenser. Watch beautiful sunsets from the kitchen table or kitchen sink every single day. Your apartment overlooks the center of Pier Walk's courtyard swimming pool with LED's that light up at night after sunset to serve as an evening backdrop from the primary bedroom, hallway or kitchen windows.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the family living room which includes a dresser, a smart TV and a comfortable sofa that pulls out into a queen bed with a mattress topper for additional comfort and sleeps two guests. The black-out curtains leading to the kitchen entry can be left open for family or group use, or they can be closed off for privacy and partial sound privacy.
Your second-floor apartment comes with high-speed fiber WiFi and a Roku TV in each of the bedrooms that includes a free Roku channel with over 1,200 free movies, shows, music and live TV AND a free streaming service with an additional 1,115 channels. So there's ALWAYS something entertaining to watch for the whole family whether it's crime, drama, documentaries, cartoons, sports, thrillers or music on Pandora!
PLEASE NOTE: there is no cable service and you must have your own paid subscription streaming accounts for services such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc.
Our courtyard pool is heated until May and the outside stainless steel BBQ grill is powered by propane gas and ready for hosting your group or family gatherings!
Our high-speed fiber WiFi is serviced through business Comcast so you can confidently host or join your Zoom meetings, video conferences, and online presentations with no issues, as many of our guests have already done. Your queen-sized bed is made with all hypoallergenic bed sheets, plush pillows and a bedspread. In the bathroom, you'll find white cotton towels.
We also provide a detailed local guidebook to all our guests after booking.

1-4 GUESTS: If you're a group of 4 guests or less, your booking comes with 2 queen beds. If you'd like to add a sofa bed setup, there's a $50 one-time linen fee to use the queen sofa bed with a mattress topper. The queen sofa bed is located in the den, which serves as the third bedroom and can be closed off using a curtain. **IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT THIS LISTING**
The principal guest must e-sign our house rules agreement and submit a matching photo ID within 24 hours of booking.
We offer a full refund within 48 hours of booking if you change your mind for any reason, as long as it's at least 2 weeks in advance of your reservation.
Stays of 45 days or more require monthly cleanings at a cost of $75 for studios, $95 for one-bedrooms, and $125 for two bedrooms. There's no other housekeeping included.
Pier Walk provides all the starter supplies for the first few days guests need to settle in, consumables like paper products, coffee, tea, spices, and bath soaps & shampoos. After that, guests are responsible for their own supplies and must purchase as much or as little as needed
To prevent cross-contamination in the pool, all guests must use outdoor shower to rinse off before entering the Pier Walk pool, and especially after returning from the beach. Please do not leave towels or personal belongings outside at any time.
If a special setup has been reserved (early check-in or extra bed setup), we can't offer a refund if canceled less than 24 hours ahead of check-in.

We had the best time at Pier Walk. The beach is a very very short walk. There are restaurants and shops in walking distance. We had a wonderful view of the pool. It is very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay there again.

Very nice property and location
Property was clean, it was a walking distance from the beach. The only thing is that didn't not have an elevator. Hostes were very communicative. I will come BK again 😁

Cute apartment! Close to everything!
We adored the apartment! Everything was as described and very clean. Marco and Danielle were easy to reach and regularly checked in to see how everything was. They were incredibly accommodating when we needed to check in earlier than planned. The pool was the perfect temperature and always clean. Our family had a great time and we'll definitely be back! Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful
We stayed at Pierwalk for 15 days in January 24. I don’t have enough good things to say about this place. But I’ll try-perfect location a block from the beach, a few minutes from the pier. Great facility with a really warm, clean pool with lounge chairs, tables. The apartment we stayed in was perfect. 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, big bathroom with tub, cute salon. There was an issue with noise from the air conditioning but Marco worked hard to make it right. He is an amazing host. Everyone we met involved in the place was really kind and helpful. Very chill vibe, we have a 2 year old and it was peaceful and quiet in the evenings. There’s free parking, seamless check in and check out. Just a perfect rental. Can’t wait to get back!!

Great Stay
We loved our stay at Pier Walk. Having beach access and restaurants to walk to was a plus. We rented bicycles and went to Pompano Beach area as well as to the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center and Red Reef Boardwalk. The weather was not perfect, but we managed to make the best of it! Thank you for a great stay:)

My stay
I stayed here for a week for a family vacation . The place is very well kept and the room was perfect . Two bedrooms with a kitchen and living room . Also 1 block from beach which is nice and quiet . Short walk to nearby dining at the peer. Also has laundry in room which makes it even more convenient .would defiantly return to pier walk .

Excellent!
Only one block from the beach and walking distance to great restaurants! Our family of four had a great time! We were able to enjoy the beach and the pool every day. All the guests in other rooms were courteous and quiet. Beds were comfortable and having a washer and dryer was a plus! Marco was quick to respond to any questions before, during and after our stay. Will definitely stay again if we come back to Florida!
