Changing Latitudes is a COMPLETED RENOVATED, dog friendly, 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 1830 sq foot home with pool located directly across the street from the beaches of Gulf Shores, AL with public beach access only 0.5 miles away.
*** DOG fee is $250 and max weight of dog allowed is 40 pounds. Dog fee is not included in the total. You have to let us know after reserving that you are bringing a dog so the fee can be added. ***
Adequate parking for 4 vehicles. No parking passes required.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Primary Bedroom: King Bed
Bedroom 2: Two (2) Queen Beds
Bedroom 3: Queen Bed
Bedroom 4: Two Twin Bunk Beds (sleeps 4)
The bottom floor is the main living area. The main floor has a living room with brand new luxury couch and chairs, large HDTV, and decorative shelving. The living/den area opens up to the kitchen with brand new stainless appliances, granite counter tops, and designer backsplash. Next to the kitchen is a dining area that completes the open floor plan and leads out to the back deck. On the front side of the main floor is a guest bedroom with a Queen bed that shares a hallway bath with the bunk room with two twin bunk beds.
Upstairs on the second floor you will find a second guest bedroom with Two Queen beds. This bedroom has balcony access and a private bathroom. Across the hall is the Master Suite. The master suite has King bed, HDTV, balcony access with Gulf views, and a private large bathroom with stand-up shower, soaking tub, and private toilet closet.
The BEACH is across the street. A private pool is accessibly on the back deck of the home. Linens come furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:
• RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.
• NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.
• AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.
• CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.
• CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.
• DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: If you are staying at a dog-friendly property, you MUST notify us and pay a non-refundable dog deposit. Failure to do so will result in us charging your card for the entire amount authorized for damage.
• MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.
• PARKING PASSES: No parking passes required. The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner's Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.
• CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.
• WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

Great house, near beach and restaurants
We were a group of 11 and the house worked out great. It was beautifully decorated, was spacious with its rooms and living area, had plenty of kitchen amenities, the pool was great after time spent at the beach, and sitting outside at the lower and upper decks was perfect. We had two access points to the beach across the street that were about 5-6 minutes walk (going left or right out of the house). You have to buy charcoal and liter fluid for the grill as it is not propane. Although the house is not beach front, the street traffic was not crazy nor very noisy at all. We are already talking about returning to Gulf Shores (since it was our first time) and definitely renting this house and through beachballproperties. They were great to rent through, provided very good communications and made the check in/out process easy. We had difficulty with our check in access code and when we called them, someone helped us out right away. We highly recommend them.

The house was very nice. The pool was great. The walk to the beach access was a little difficult for us finely aged folks, but we did have a great time.

Gulf shore trip
It got very cold and the furnance was not working correctly the closets and bathrooms upstairs were very cold...the kitchen floor by the sink has a sink hole in it, and the floors were not cleaned well i swept alot of dust from under beds and dressers and livingroom other then that things were ok

Very nice home
The home was very nice. We were told via direct message from the property owner that the beach access was only 0.03 miles away and “right across the street”, however it was actually 0.3 miles away and about a 6 minute walk to the public beach access. Overall, we were pleased with the home and would recommend for someone not needing direct beach access.

Late August get-a-way
Everything was as described. Plenty of room with all the amenities. Pool was very nice, but it would have been great if there was a little shade over it in the heat of the day. Property is close to beach access. Master bedroom is on the top floor, so if you have difficulty with stair it may not be the place for you. Very nice place, I would recommend for others.

Nice for family
Great property for generation family gathering. Husband and wife with grown daughter and her husband and right at 2 year old daughter and a close friend of the daughter. An issue with pool when arrived but it was taken care of that evening. Except should have be maintained afterwards so they didn't have to come back and shock the next day. But it worked out. Great location as long as you are not a beach person. We are not, so the pool worked well.

FABULOUS!
We enjoyed our "destination" Thanksgiving at Changing Latitudes. House was perfect for us and had everything we needed. Wish we could have enjoyed the pool. The pool was beautiful - but weather didn't allow. GREAT location.

AMAZING STAY AND LOCATION
This house was definitely a step up from other properties near by that are "just getting by". It turns out our other friends booked a house that had all nice pictures but when they arrived was far from the truth. Thank God I had this house and it was everything we needed and more! The owner were a pleasure to work with and took care of accommodating all of our needs! Thank you BeachBall Properties!

Nice place
the house has clearly been recently renovated with no complaints from us about the cleanliness or repair of the home. Unfortunately the pool was not in operation, which was fully disclosed by the property manager at the time of booking. The house will be a bigger draw with the pool back in operation. Check in and Check out were very simple. WiFi was supplied and very easy to access and covered the entire property. The property manager utilized an app for communication/leasing information/document access which is lacking. Communication was hampered by the app-emailing or phone calls would have been much simpler. Access to the beach was approximately 20-25 houses away to the north and south (public beach access is at the intersection of 12th and 13th Street at Beach Blvd on either side of the block this home is on. Be prepared to walk a bit to get to the beach. Once to the beach, it is lovely.

Beautiful Home
This property is beautiful, it’s updated and perfect for a family. The rental agency was great to deal with. My only negative was that is was a bit of a hike to the beach accesses with all your beach stuff. We made friends with the people renting across the street and they allowed us to cut through.
