Noble Jones Cottage was built for George Jones between 1799-1808. George Jones was born in Savannah, and participated in the American Revolutionary War. He was later a member of the George House of Representatives, and Georgia Senate. After his time as Mayor of Savannah, he was appointed judge of the eastern judicial circuit of Georgia in 1804, and served until he became a U.S. Senator. His father, Noble Wimberly Jones was a Georgia Delegate to the Continental Congress. In 1736, Noble Jones obtained a grant for 500 acres of land on the Isle of Hope that would form the core of the famed Wormsloe Plantation.

Great girls weekend Two friends and I stayed for a long girls weekend in Savannah and had a great time at this property! Centrally located and easy walking distance to all big attractions. The rental was clean, the managers were very friendly, and there was plenty of room for all of us to stay comfortably. Would highly recommend and look forward to coming back!

Perfect historic cottage Beautiful, historic cottage. We felt like we had stepped back in time. Rooms were roomy and comfortable. The living room only accommodates 3 people, which was tough for 3 couples. The downstairs tub was uneven, so be careful when showering. This cottage was close to everything and we walked everywhere.

Savannah Adulting Weekend This location was perfect for walking around & parking. We were (3) couples with (3) vehicles and had no issues with parking or getting around by foot. The cottage had plenty of space for us.

Weekend in Savannah This was a very nice location to enjoy historic Savannah. Both couples enjoyed the home, the location, and even the ease of parking there. This would be an easy choice for another visit to Savannah.

Wonderful Weekend We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is unique and close to everything! For those with mobility issues, know that the stairs to the second level are very steep.

Wedding weekend It is old. The location is ideal. Nothing is out of walking distance. If you appreciate the history of the home and the pains it must have taken to modernize it to todays standards you would understand what a wonderful job the Lucky Savannah crew did to make this a great vacation stay. 5 stars

Great Getaway Place Nice location, close to everything. Great material provided by Lucky Savannah to plan our visit and get around in the city, and with very good check in and check out information. Cozy and rustic cottage with all necessary amenities, which was very nice to stay in. Definitely recommend.

The Savannah Experience The property has the best location. Short walk to anything and the trolley will even pick you up in route. There are a few things you should expect in a 200 year old home: the stairs are steep and uneven and the floors creek. This just added to the character of the home for us. To the owners, we did see some small ants in the kitchen and the outlet in the downstairs bathroom doesn’t work. All simple fixes! This is no way distracted us from the Savannah experience!

The place was nice, but the beds were rock hard which made for long night and sore hips. Other then hard beds and only three comfortably chairs in the living room, We liked our stay.
