Reviews indicate that this property boasts a prime location within walking distance to many attractions in the historic district, making it convenient for guests. The house is described as beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped with comfortable furnishings and ample amenities. However, some guests reported issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and management responsiveness, including problems with entry codes, leaks, and mold. Overall, while the property has many appealing features, potential renters should be aware of the noted drawbacks.
Broughton street
House was not as pictured in terms of cleanliness and presentation. The tub in one of the bathrooms was dirty and there was mold/mildew all around the house. The tub in the master bathroom was "out of order" and not functional. In a seperate bathroom there was an excessive amount of water leaking from the outside of the house through the French doors. When the company was notified of this they did a temporary patch job. After our stay, it took many days before the management team contacted us regarding our concerns that we voiced during our stay and they were highly unprofessional. When we further explained to the office our poor experience, they were very defensive and stating that because of the houses age, leaks and mold/mildew are expected. They also provided minimal compensation for the inconveniences and false advertising. While I understand that historic homes come with certain character, the house should be prepared for guests to enjoy without leaks, mold/mildew and dirty/non-functional bathrooms. Based on this, I do not feel like the price of the home is justified and I would warn people before considering this booking.

Very close to all the riverfront activities
Great location... very lovely... all full bathrooms are on the top floor... one half bath on first floor... for those of you who are older and do not want to deal with stairs. Garage parking is great and patio was really nice.

Christmas in Savannah
The home is beautiful and spacious and ideally located. The beds, sofa, and chairs are comfortable however the dining room and kitchen could use more chairs. The kitchen has plenty of cooking and dining dishes, pans, utensils etc but the only basic ingredient present is coffee. Kroger is a 20 minute walk away. We just managed to park our Escape and Camry in the garage. The locks and entry codes are dicey. The house has many gorgeous tall windows but few of the blinds open. This is not the warmest home we have ever stayed in but made it tolerable by keeping all hall doors closed. The kitchen appliances work properly, there was adequate hot water, there were gracious plenty bath linens and kitchen cleaning supplies, the soap and shampoo smell lovely, and my son really enjoyed playing the piano. The staircases are so gracious and very tall as befits an 1860 elegant home..

Beautiful house but difficult to work with management comapng
We loved staying in the Broughton Estate for an extended weekend getaway. Beautiful home, great location and very clean! We did have a hard time getting into the home when we arrived (they gave us the wrong code), and we also requested to leave our bags there upon check-out because we had a late flight and the management company (Lucky Savannah) wasn’t willing to accommodate our request without asking for a significant fee. They also called us during dinner out to ask if we could bring the key back to the house for other guests staying on the property because they had forgotten to leave it for them.

A Gathering in Savannah
Really beautiful inside. Would love to know the age of the house. Very clean. It has a nice courtyard with a fountain. A little to hot this time of year to fully enjoy. The rooms were all beautiful and spacious. Three floors of stairs....phew....so you have to be willing and able. The only minor challenge is the main floor bedroom guests have to travel to the 3rd floor to take a shower....there is a half bath across the hall. I would definitely stay again if we ever return to Savannah. :)

Wonderful time
Staying in this magnificent house meant was an amazing treat. It was used as a home base for my groomsmen to get ready before my wedding. Once the photographers arrived, they immediately found the beauty in the rooms, cleanliness, and outstanding lighting. The only con would have to be the extreme tightness of the garage. Savannah parking is one of the worst I’ve seen, and I’m from NYC, so seeing this in the listing, I was thrilled that two cars would be able to park in a garage. Upon arriving; however, the tight alley and narrow garage made it difficult to park a Rav 4. Other than that, a beautiful estate with so much room for activities. Thanks, my wedding weekend was amazing.

Great vacation
Our family had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful historic home. There were a few chips and dusty areas upon arrival but nothing terrible. The lock box process was confusing and our code to our door wouldn’t work but the customer service rep was wonderful and fixed us right up! We had a wonderful time. We loved having our coffee in the courtyard in the mornings. Great location!!! Walking distance to all the action!
