You’ll find the living room appointed with an eclectic yet warm collection of furnishings and decor from the owners' international travels. A formal dining room connects the front of house with the cheery kitchen, equipped with modern appliances and cookware for all your dine-in needs. Off the back of the home, you’ll find a private courtyard that comfortably seats four.
Both bedrooms are upstairs, each with their own full baths. The first bedroom has a Queen size bed and antique writing desk, while the second bedroom mirrors the first but with a King size bed and excellent views of historic Tattnall Street. With windows on either side of the home, Whippet House receives ample natural light during the day. Shutters and window treatments ensure privacy when wanted.
One block north lands you in Chatham Square, one of Savannah's gorgeous green spaces. Head east two blocks to historic Forsyth Park, known for its famous fountain and a popular location for weddings. Enjoy a liege waffle and latte at Mirabelle Cafe, before touring the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, located right across the street. Broughton Street, a hub of Savannah’s shopping, and River Street are only 10-15 minutes north from there, respectively.

Savannah Sisters Trip - The Whippet House
We really enjoyed our stay at The Whippet House. The property was very comfortable, extremely clean, beautifully furnished, spacious with very nice amenities and in a great location for walking to local destinations with easy access to highways for several day trips outside of Savannah. It was actually easier to walk to local attractions in Savannah from the property instead of driving because parking can be difficult. There is a parking spot behind the property which was a big plus. We did day trips to Tybee Island, Hilton Head, Charleston and Beaufort along with exploring Savannah. We enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely recommend this property.

Great property, frustrating neighbors ( right next door)
Great property, excellent location. However neighbors are really frustrating. We reached late to the property and with in 2 mins we settled down in the home. However, neighbors complained that we came late and made noise. If they can’t stand with that 2 mins moving luggage process to home, they shouldn’t be next to vacation home. So unless you are sure, you checkin before 5 pm, don’t try this home, you will end up receiving complaints from stupid neighbors.

Great location, cute home.
What we loved most about this house is the location and the ability to sit outside in the back. The weather was perfect to be outside and we enjoyed the outside every morning for breakfast and late at night for some late night cocktails. We walked just about everywhere. Only uber’ed once due to rain.

Wonderful place!
The property was very clean and inviting. We loved the decor and location. It’s a perfect set up for two couples. If you have a full size pick up truck, the reserved parking spot out back is a little tight. We were, however, able to find street parking out front. That’s not a complaint, just a heads up for anyone going. I highly recommend this property!
