Dances with Dolphins describes the endless breathtaking views from our private balcony amidst the fresh sea breeze. Experience some well-deserved rest and relaxation in our (2) bedroom, (2) bathroom condo on the 2nd floor at The Islander Resort. The balcony offers an amazing place to watch the sunset slowly pe beyond the Gulf horizon. In the morning, cherish an a’ la carte breakfast then take a quick stroll to the beach to admire the miles of crystal clear waters and absorb a free dose of Vitamin D! If you get tired of building sandcastles, enjoy all the resort activities from beach water sports, swimming pools, tennis, pickle ball, basketball, and fitness center.
The open floor plan is inviting for entertaining throughout the kitchen, dining and living areas with beautiful windows overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The living room features a large flat screen TV with a sleeper sofa and loveseat, where you can snuggle up with some popcorn to enjoy movies or play games. The sliding glass door off the living room offers a private balcony to sit outside & enjoy a great book while overlooking the pool, tennis courts and the Gulf of Mexico.
The dining room table offers seating for (6) with counter seating for (2). Feel free to dine alfresco on the balcony at the table for (4) or in the chaise lounge. The kitchen is well equipped with a refrigerator, stovetop, oven, microwave, dishwasher and offering a Mr. Coffee for your brewing pleasure. Community charcoal grills are located throughout the West courtyard.
The Master Bedroom is spacious with beautiful windows and views of the Gulf. The room features a king bed, 40" flat screen TV, ceiling fan, and comfy beach motif bedding. It includes an ensuite bathroom with dual vanities and walk-in shower. The Guest Bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV, and a shared bathroom with a step-in shower/tub combo. The living room provides additional sleeping accommodations with a queen sleeper sofa.
The condo is a self check-in residence with a private entry key card. (2) parking passes are provided with your reservation.

Great Location
Loved the location! Way too many throw/ decorative pillows on the beds and on the couch. Also found the dresser counters sticky and with hair. Overall though the location was perfect.

Amazing location, cozy space!
Our stay was amazing. The location could not be any better for a get away with my husband and our best friends. The condo is cozy and welcoming, although the beds are not comfortable. The process was easy and check in and check out was a breeze! I loved that there were luggage carts to help get bags up to the condo, that made loading and unloading quick and easy. We would definitely stay again.

Overall; great stay
Overall; great stay- we would book again. Cons were having to pick up the access bands at another location before checking in, but it was close so not too inconvenient. Would be great if you could just get these at the front desk. The unit was very clean and just as described, my only constructive observation was that the floor didn’t seem to have been thoroughly cleaned. We wore socks around the condo and the bottoms were pretty dingy after a short period of time.

Fun all in one
We loved this place! The process to check in was smooth and easy. The condo was pretty much as described and very clean. The pools were nice and heated. We loved the close access to the beach just past the pool and over a bridge. Great location which nice and quiet but just a short 10 minute drive to many restaurants and shops. It was a perfect destination for our family.

Perfect location
Absolutely perfect location for a family trip to experience everything Destin. The rooms were spacious and the amenities were a timely convenience. Only complaint is of cleanliness, being mindful of my cleanliness standards. Bathrooms could have used a little more attention in the showers. There was a bit of reminiscence of prior visitors that was a little off putting. Other than that it was as close to perfection as you could wish for.

Great condo in Destin
We had a great time at the Islander in Destin. Overall the unit was very clean and presentable. The kitchen was well stocked and only missing a few things. The heated pools / grounds were great and it was wonderful to only be a short walk to the beach. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at the Islander #203. Loved the quick walk to beach. Everything was super clean and it’s location was great!!!! Plenty of supplies were provided also. Thank you and we would love to stay here again.

Beautiful stay
This place was awesome. I wake up every morning with a direct view of the ocean and enjoyed my coffee out on the back balcony. Pickleball, the pool and the jacuzzi are literally a one minute walk- close enough that you could even run back up to the room to grab a drink inbetween sets. Parking is easy. The whole place is only a 5 minute drive to a handful of great restaurants and a 10 minute drive from the heart of Destin. But I really enjoyed being out on this little peninsula section- it felt private and secluded.

Beautiful family vacation on the beach!
We had such a wonderful time. The condo had everything we needed. The only thing I would do differently is bring our own chairs for the beach. If you rent them it’s $46 the first day then $41 after that. We definitely will be back to the Islander🏖
