About this Cabin

There's no better place for your morning coffee or an evening drink than the peaceful patio while you listen to the small stream flowing right next to the cabin. Better yet, take a relaxing soak in the brand new hot tub! This cozy 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin tucked into the side of a mountain in beautiful Maggie Valley can serve as a perfect launching point for your vacation near Asheville and Smoky Mountain National Park. The entire living space including the kitchen has an open concept, so anyone working in the kitchen is still a part of the action! The kitchen also is perfectly adjacent to the side porch by the grill and hot tub, so you're always very close to exactly what you need!

Each room in the cabin has it's own brand new remote-controlled air conditioning and heating system. No matter whether you sleep warm or cold you will have your own climate-controlled bedroom to ensure a comfortable night's sleep.

Enjoy the morning coffee bar stocked with some k-cups and ground coffee, a coffee maker and filters, and a French press! We have brand new pans and baking sheets ready for your home-cooked meals, and a brand new dishwasher, oven, and fridge. You'll find the kitchen stocked with all the utensils you'll need, can openers, wine and bottle openers, and more.

Bathroom welcome kits are stocked for you that include small soaps and shampoos. If you're staying more than 2 or 3 days we recommend bringing more supplies in the case that you run out.

We love your 4-legged friends! Feel free to bring up to 2 dogs. Please know that bringing pets always requires extra cleaning, so we ask for a small $25 pet fee.

The primary bedroom has a queen bed with remote control! The guest bedroom is also a queen-sized, brand new mattress.

Free access to Netflix is provided for your entertainment!

PLEASE NOTE: The small stream by the cabin is not big enough for swimming or fishing. It only provides some nice nature ambience!

Property Reviews
At A Glance!
Reviews indicate that this property offers a quiet and cozy retreat with a charming creek and a well-stocked kitchen, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. Guests appreciated the pet-friendly environment, comfortable beds, and responsive host. However, some reviews highlighted significant cleanliness and maintenance issues, including stained sheets, ants, and a sour-smelling hot tub, which detracted from their experience. Overall, while many found the location and amenities appealing, the property requires better upkeep to meet all guests' expectations.
Quiet Getaway Nice kept property and is located pretty much center of everthing in Maggie Valley.

Disappointed The place was rather run down, there were weeds everywhere. When I was outside I saw a neighbor and started chatting. She said someone in the neighborhood had tried to get ahold of the owners to tell them they need to take care of the property but they hadn't heard back from them. There were stains on the carpet. The kitchen counters and fridge were clean but under the sink was a mess and a baking pan we needed to use was dirty. We bought pastries and the next morning they were covered in ants. That was the only time we contacted management so they would know they had a problem. They responded promptly and replied that they do have it sprayed. The hot tub smelled sour, although we did use it, we just showered afterwards. The smoke detector was missing a battery. There was charcoal dust all over the back porch. We didn't bother contacting anyone because the whole place needed a deep clean and we knew that wasn't going to happen. This was the only time my daughter could get off and see The Biltmore and since she is working during her last college summer it also meant it was her only vacation. I felt bad for her since the place was such a disappointment. It could be a really cute place but it needs to be clean and taken care of.

Terrific little cabin on a creek. Everything was as advertised. Great location in the mountains with a perfect small creek off the back porch. Good beds, good showers, and well stocked kitchen. Really impressed by the upscale Weber grill with all needed tools. Also in a nice area to take our dog. For walks. Owner was very attentive and checked on us regularly. Definitely recommend.

Stomache turning 😔 Booked this cabin for a weekend getaway for my husband's 40th birthday. Upon arrival everything seemed okay until it was time for bed. We turned down the covers only to find blood stains on both beds in both rooms on the sheets. I reached out to the property owner 2 times only to be ignored. This was by far one of the worse experiences I ever had and to not have the management respond to my messages just added insult to injury. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CABIN TO ANYONE EVER

Cabin in Maggie Valley The kitchen and living room were excellent but the house was not really wheelchair friendly. The hallway was way to narrow to make a right angle turn into the master bedroom. The doorway into the bathroom was too narrow for a wheelchair. . The entrance ramp needs some traction material on it. My chair slid down the ramp and into the railing after a rain! Robb the owner was very helpful. No complaints with him . I am upset withVRBO that they do not have 2 designations-H- for handicapped accessible and a. wheelchair for wheelchair appropriate.

Cozy cabin close to town The cabin was clean, cozy, and spacious, tucked in a semi-private wooded neighborhood with easy access to Maggie Valley shops, restaurants, etc. The owner Robb was friendly and quite responsive during our communications, and I never had to reach out to him for anything during our stay, everything was perfect for the 2 of us and our black lab. Comfortable beds and living room furniture, plenty of hot water and towels, nice big TV, plenty of cabinet and closet storage, compact yet spacious with charming mountain decor. My only regret is we never used the hot tub! It was either pouring cold rain, or we were too tired from our daytime adventures LOL. We definitely enjoyed our stay very much, thank you Robb!
