About this Condo

This historic building located in the Lower Garden District was originally built in 1906. It blends old New Orleans charm with modern comforts and amenities. Inside, it has been beautifully remodeled in 2019 with an open floor plan, modern furnishings, all new appliances, and wooden floors. The place features 14-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the apartment with natural light, and local art. The backyard features a deck with seating.

This unit is 1 of 4 in a larger house. The newly renovated interior features elegant decor throughout.

The fully-stocked open plan kitchen featuring all new appliances is the perfect spot to cook a delicious meal.

The fast internet and smart LED TVs in all rooms allows you to relax after a long day exploring the city.

Each room is thoroughly cleaned between guests, and fresh linens and toiletries are provided to ensure a comfortable stay.

The Lower Garden District was built in the mid-19th century and is one of the most scenic and wealthy areas of all New Orleans. Grand, historic mansions line the streets, making it a scenic neighborhood away from the bustle of the French Quarter and perfect for strolling.

Find yourself within walking distance to upscale dining, craft cocktails and rare antiques. However, there is also casual dining, local bars, and boutiques all in the area as well.

Nearby attractions include the World War II Museum, Audubon Park & Zoo, Lafayette Cemetery, Commander's Palace, and the shops of Magazine Street. Just a few minutes away from the Lower Garden District and a short car ride away is the famed French Quarter.

Opt for taking the charming streetcar down St. Charles Avenue and enjoy all the sites in between.

Many attractions can be enjoyed by foot, but for other means of transportation there are nearby blue bike share hubs.

Taxis and ride shares such as Uber and Lyft operate heavily in the area.

The St. Charles streetcar line is just one block away and can transport you up to the French Quarter or across to Riverbend.

For those traveling by car, street parking outside the home is readily available.

At A Glance!
Reviews indicate that this property is highly praised for its excellent location, cleanliness, and well-stocked amenities, making it a convenient and comfortable choice for visitors to New Orleans. Guests frequently mentioned the responsive and helpful host, as well as the safety and quietness of the neighborhood. Some minor drawbacks include the need for higher quality pillows and the suggestion to bring a sleeping mask due to light entering the bedrooms. Overall, the sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Weekend Getaway This little apartment was so cute and perfect for mine and my mom’s weekend getaway to NOLA! It was clean and well stocked with all necessities. The host was very kind and always responded quickly when I had questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Location Our stay was one of many stays while on our Blue Highway trip that lasted 12 days. We stayed 2 days in New Orleans at this location and enjoyed the surrounding area. There are some great restaurants in the area like Gris-Gris... So delicious!! We Ubered to Frenchmans street a few times as most of the fun is a short Uber drive away. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the kitchen is stocked if you want to cook a meal. We picked this property because we had been on the road for a week and needed to do some laundry. The owner provided laundry soap and dryer sheets and the washer and dryer are newer and worked great! You will need a sleeping mask for the back bedroom as light comes in from the windows and our only complaint is the pillows. We felt we would have slept better with 2 pillows per person and if they were pillows of a higher quality. Other than that our stay was great! We felt safe and the neighborhood gets very quiet at night.

Excellent property This is a very upscale property in a great neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable as was the living room furniture. The kitchen was outfitted with everything you need and everything worked properly. I do wish there was basic cable TV so that I did not have to stream the football games which kept buffering but I understand why property owners do not want to commit to that. Parking was very easy right in front of the house and there is a brand new restaurant and bar next-door which looked fantastic. I would highly recommend and will stay again.

Nola We visited New Orleans for a few days and the location of the condo was great and such a cute little place. Bailey was easily accessible for any questions. I would recommend his place to stay for sure. It has everything you would want in a condo.

Perfect for our trip! Former locals, this place was perfect for our needs. Felt safe, car parked right outside front door, easy to get to Ruby Slipper for breakfast, around the corner to the street car, and easy to get onto the highway to other destinations. Only comment is that if you need it dark to sleep, bring an eye mask. The nearby lights are helpful for safety…but we always felt safe anyway. Host was amazing and helpful. Kids were super impressed with the decor. Our teen son slept in the couch, and was very happy with the arrangement. Will stay there again!
