Charming 1890's historic cottage in the heart of Old Town Bay St.Louis just two blocks from the marina, restaurants, shops, parks and the beach. The home has original hardwood floors, 10 ft. ceilings, an open living/dining room, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and a private back porch.
This cottage on St. George is one of the few side hall cottages in Bay St. Louis and was built in 1890. The cottage is within the boundaries of the Bay St. Louis Historic District.
The space
There's a bat house located in the side yard and at dusk you don't want to miss the spectacular view of the exit of over 150 bats into the night!!!
Guest access
You will have full access to the home. The key for the back door also accesses the small shed located in the back yard. You will find some beach items there for use such as an umbrella, chairs and a small ice chest.
Other things to note
There is parking space available to accommodate only two (2) vehicles.

Lovely home in Old Town
My mom and I enjoyed the 1890s home. It was close to shops and restaurants (walking distance). Very serene setting. Couldn’t have asked for better spot.

Family Vacation

We had a great time, this was actually our second stay at this house. Y'all need to change that description though, there aint a queen size bed in that house!

Girls' Trip!
The house was charming and quaint! We walked to dinner the first night but drive the rest of the time since we didnt want to sweat in the July heat. We did take advantage of the extra fans that were provided in tge home. There was plenty of space for us girls to get ready and relax. The home owner replied quickly to all questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Fabulous stay at St George Cottage!
Upon arrival of the first 2 of us, we thought the pictures DID NOT do it justice! So precious inside! Decor was unique and wonderful!! The hardwood floors took my sisters and I to our childhood grandmother’s home and that gave us so much comfort! Floors were redone to PERFECTION! We walked everywhere with knowledge it was very safe. Cannot talk enough about the locals who were incredibly friendly. It is hard at times, for them when tourists come and do not respect their environment. We are from Louisiana and expect to treat others like we want to be treated. Put walks took longer than expected because friendly locals stopped their cars, golf carts and bikes to greet us and give us info about things to do, best restaurants, etc. who would not want to stay at this cottage and get this experience? 10 stars if it was a choice!
