Summary:
Welcome to the Golden Greek Getaway! This home sits in the heart of Seminole Heights, Tampa. 5-10 minutes from Downtown, and walking distance to the Hillsborough River, and about a half a mile to tons of shops and restaurants. Seminole Heights is known for as a Foodie Hot Spot with many award winning restaurants all within a few minutes drive! The home has underwent an extensive renovation and has been filled with soft white and gray tones with pops of blue and gold to resemble parts of Greece.
The Space:
The space was designed to feel like a clean, crisp little Greek villa. Clean white paint with bold pops of blue and gold to make it pop. Enjoy movies on the couches, cook some meals in the full kitchen, or cuddle up in our comfortable beds. The house sits on 1/3 of an acre, so go out in the backyard to enjoy the fantastic Tampa, Florida weather!
Guest Access:
Guests have access to pretty much unlimited parking out front, the entire home and the backyard.
The Neighborhood:
Tampa in general has some fantastic restaurants and shops. This neighborhood (Seminole Heights) is known for our independent gourmet foodie restaurants and the Hillsborough River. We have some spectacular bars and restaurants, a good amount of them are about a half a mile walk. In our neighborhood you can get some coffee/breakfast in the morning, dinner/drinks at night, and even fresh Cuban bread at the 24 hour bakery that’s 3/4 of a mile away! 15min to airport, 5-10min to downtown/convention center, 5 min to Armature Works, 15 min to Moffit, 10 min to Ybor City, 20-50 min to beaches (depending on beach) and 15 min to Busch Gardens.
Getting Around:
Uber is readily accessible and you can typically get anywhere in Tampa for $7-$15 or so (depending on the day and location of course), plenty of restaurants and things to do (10-15 min walk), and the river is about 5 minutes walk.
Other Things to Note:
We have top of the line WiFi and a Roku tv with Netflix.

Tampa ministay
Furnace didn’t work and temps in low forties at night. Called host and was told probably bc it was cold outside. From New York State and the outside temp doesn’t control the temp of the house up here and it gets cold. No heat for the three nights we were there. On top of that only had hot water for about a two minute shower then it went stone cold. Did have hot water after about 10-15 minutes but it was hell standing there all wet and covered with soap waiting for it. Contacted the host and was told to wait the 10 minutes bc the other unit may have used the hot water. Apparently the two units shared. Didn’t make a difference as we tried showers all different times of the day/night. Had a near catastrophe bc the from steps are loose and falling off. Would not recommend !!!!!!!!

I loved staying here. Very close to the highway for easy access to every part of Tampa. Lovely neighborhood.

A 5 Star Villa
The villa was beautiful and clean. We checked in at night and the area looks like a historic area. The Neighbors were out jogging and walking there dogs. We saw lots of families and locals around. The manager was great and checked on us to make sure all was well. We loved the decor, the kitchen was definitely a stunner. This will be our vacation spot when we come to Tampa!
